Check Out the NEW FERRARI ROMA! | FIRST LOOK

- This is the brand new Ferrari Roma and a very first look to check it out! Join me at the launch in Rome, Italy to check out the new 2+ Sports car, a new segment for Ferrari with their latest supercar. Inspired by Ferraris of the 1960s, with design and technology from the Monza SP1/SP2 and SF90 Stradale, it's sure to be a huge success!
Inspired by the 1960s 250 GT 2+2, the new Roma offers a sports-GT package with the latest technology and comforts combined with the award winning 3.9l TT V8. In this specification it produces 620hp and 760nm which through the new 8spd DCT means 0-100km/h in 3.4s and 0-200km/h in 9.3s before going onto a top speed of over 320km/h.
The exterior features a new style design language with hints of the recently launched Monza SP1 and SP2 with the narrow headlights and aggressively angled front grille. However it's a new shape, that of an elegant grand tourer with an extended bonnet, the seating position back towards the rear axle and a fastback style roof line.
On the inside, inherited from the recent SF90 Stradale we can find the latest touch control steering wheel along with curved 16" dashboard display and in this case an 8.4" portrait central infotainment system. It includes a 5 stage Manettino including Race as well as SSC 6.0 (Slip Slide Control).
Presented to the world in Rome, the Ferrari Roma encompases the feeling of 'La Nuova Dolce Vita' and I'd expect it is going to be an instant success and open the brand to new markets competing against the likes of the Aston Martin DB11, AMG GT C, Bentley Continental GT and Porsche 911 Turbo S. Join me for a first look and walkaround of the brand new introduction to Ferrari's line-up to get a feel for what it's all about!
Thanks for watching, Tim

Let's take a look at the brand new Ferrari Roma! The covers only just came off and here we go with a first look walkaround to show you the new Italian supercar. What do you think?!
Don't like the design, specially the front, looks like an Aston Martin not a Ferrari.
Did they announce this car or was it a bit of a surprise ?
How much? Is this
Its a very civilised look, compared to other Ferrari's.

Pretty much

Exactly
That interior is STUNNING

Aston Martin: Yeah just change it a little so it doesn’t look like you copied
Haha I scrolled down to find this comment
Pilon exactly! Looks like a face lifted Aston!
You summed up my thoughts!!
It looks like a Ferrari 250 GT. Ironically, modern Aston Martin cars look more like '60s Ferrari than '60s Aston Martin. cdn.motor1.com/images/mgl/oeqgp/s1/ferrari-250-gt-berlinetta-lusso.jpg

no kidding eh? DB11.......
How does it look like an Aston Martin?
@@WarrenF lol can u not see the resemblance

I legit thought that this was an Aston Martin.
So similar. Little more sexy.

Aston Martin's latest creation: The Ferrari Roma.

@footballcoreano I'm Spanish.
To be fair modern aston martins were the ones looking like coupe vipers and many other companies have been using that lovely (shark) body shape on their cars (big hood, sporty sexy rear) including ferrari with the f12 and 812, also mercedes with their amg gt, etc, etc.
But that body shape (berlinetta) was created and popularized in the 50s by Italians alfa romeo and ferrari, so they are not copying aston martin by any means
The higher pitched Shmee's voice is, the more chances of him buying the car.
I'd like to congratulate aston martin for their amazing design.
Lol
Named after Rome, where ironically you'd never want to drive this car.
Camride maybe they named it roma because it’s so cramped in the back seat
The all new Ferrari Roma..the newest Ferrari you won't be using.. but needed for the SF90 allocation..
I have visited Italy on numerous occasions over the last 30 odd years mainly in the wealth north and I can’t ever remember seeing one Ferrari on the road. Bit like England unless you go to west London. The trouble is the few that can afford these cars buy them and hardly ever use them.
@@tuppid2463 those are not the type of cars you keep in your garage like a LaFerrari... and there are way more people out there who can afford 200.000+ cars than you think.

Ferrari pumping out these new models left n right
It's been a bumper year with 5 new cars: F8 Tributo Coupe and Spider, SF90 Stradale, 812 GTS and now Roma
You have to get that f1 money from somewhere
@Doekf20rjfi3kf ddk48rjd83i agree, its loosing its magic, pumping out models like mclaren, all with the same turbo engine with no exciting noise.
Need to keep the cash coming in, new cars is a good way to do that
Just renewing their design language. Happened with the 458, F12, California, etc.
Excellent presentation, thank you for giving us the best of cars
When you think Ferrari couldn't possibly make even more stunning car they actually DO!!! It is amazing looking car. I'll likely never be able to have one but can at least look at it. Ferrari designers are genius.
“It gives you the feel of an old gated manual”. Without all of the fun though.
Ferrari manual gear changes were never much fun; they were a bit slow and obstructive - especially when the oil was cold.
agree ,its like "its fun ,but its not"
Robert Cook yep the older ones were dog’s. Still fun of course but the best driving Ferrari manual I’ve driven was the 430 with the gated 6spd. The f355 wasn’t bad. The testa was horrible and the 348 wasn’t very good either
You’re a mad man Mr. Burton !!
Non-stop entertainment!
Hehe thanks
It has to be one of the most beautiful gt in the recent years !
Well you certainly know your stats, that was a great presentation and I do love the smooth lines, what a beauti. Thanks
Whoa! That's looks like an Aston Martin V12 Vantage
This reminds me of an Aston Martin mixed with that series of Lotus concepts from a few years back. With that said this is very gorgeous. I can’t wait to see it in different colors.
Novitec N-Largo Ferrari Roma...
My mind is ready to see that!
They killed it, I'm in love and I'm not a big fan of modern Ferraris, but this feels like 1960s beauty.
Looks a mix of old gen and new gen vantage with some elements from db11 and the Monza twins
Yeah, a a nut from Monzas and the rest from the DB11.
It's a Vantage/DB10 Body. With headlights from the Monza. Also the rear taillights look a lot like the new DBS Zagato.

The name should’ve been London, not ‘Roma’
London is not in Italy, Ferrari is an Italian brand so why?
@Sethei ah for that joke, okay thanks
Emir Birol or UAE 🇦🇪
@Sethei In that case you should call it Berlin, since Aston Martin uses engines and infotainment from Mercedes.
It's not a 3rd world vehicle
I love this car coupè. The engine, interior and more!

Neutron Alchemist doesn’t matter if Aston copies Ferrari in the past, this car does not identify as Ferrari heritage. The dash and center console are generic at best and lack the classic look of previous Ferrari’s.
The 812 GTS is the last amazing Coupe
@@WattsUpDev Since Aston copies the Ferrari of the past. If Ferrari wants to make a car with a classic look, from where it should take inspiration? A Mercedes?

Magnifique , Ferrari sais faire des voitures , toutes la différence avec les autres est là. Toujours au top 👍
Ferraris is always changing its design and adopting the most modern style.
This is why you cannot claim it to be Aston Martin design - if you know that ferrari always had similar fronts, for ex Ferrari California.
First regular production Ferrari I've actually wanted in a long time!
This is more a child of Aston Martin and Porshe, than a Ferrari imo...

Yuo came from the future?
Ferrari: "let's make a fast car, and let's call it with the idiotic name Superfast!"
Aston Martin: let's make a porky GT, and call it Superleggera (super light)!
Ferrari: let's make a Ferr-Aston and call it even!
Super fast is a rather dumb name but this is from a company that called their flagship car "The Ferrari". So no surprise there. At least the super fast name has some history
Might sound "idiotic" from a poor, mature adult perspective, but at the end of the day these are just toys for big "rich" kids and Superfast is something we would all want our car to be called if we were a kid.
@@TheDarkPacific Do you realize what Lamborghini's "Superveloce (SV)" translates to? It literally means super fast in Italian, so Ferrari naming a car 812Superfast doesn't seem strange to me since the name "Superfast" already exists in the supercar world for so many years.
And the 70K Ford Mustang will kick its ass!
What, Ferrari just got tookout by Ford, again!

You mean a new Aston Martin DB10
Did nobody at Ferrari realize the strong resemblance this car has to an Aston Martin?
flightjam absolutely everybody’s saying it, they must have noticed
flightjam I’m sure they know but the Roma looks like a much better version
@@nickk707
So you say, but I wouldn't be so sure... I've seen many great and terrible car designs over the years and I have come to a realization. Designs that resemble an amalgamation of different styles tend to be incohesive. They will usually end up looking like aftermarket modifications instead of fully fledged production cars. This Ferrari is just another example of why car companies should stick to developing their own design languages. It is a far more effective method and removes the potential risks involved (potential customer backlash and negative publicity).
If I were to give you my own opinion on the matter, I'd say that this car looks nothing like a Ferrari. When I first saw pictures of it, I thought I was looking at a new Aston Martin or Volvo Polestar model. That is usually a good indication that something is off in the design language. I understand what they were trying to accomplish, but they should have taken more time for product development and did more market research. I can't think of why someone would buy the Roma over an 812 Superfast or a Lusso.
@@CaseyCollier well said
Casey Collier agreed, but in a nutshell Ferrari have opened themselves up for ridicule and inso doing have spent multi millions in R&D and production on free publicity for Aston Martin. I mean look at what just a TH-cam reveal has created in the comments (nearly every comment stream alludes to the fact) just imagine what every one of those cars driving the streets is going create byway of opinion? Massive fopar for Ferrari
Since the 50s Astons and Ferraris have looked alike, both make some of the prettiest cars
Literally within the first two seconds I was like "aye that's an Aston Martin". I literally said it out loud while sitting lonely in my room
I’d just buy a portofino if I want something like this tbh😂
This is what happens when an AMG GT sleeps with an Aston Martin DB11
we should just call it DB10
Very beautiful...i wont lie i didnt think id like it before veiwing the video but im absolutely in love
The new Aston Roma looks stunning! ;)

This is honestly a car that I'd love to add to my collection

BTW great vid absolutely loved it
I like it , the interior of the ferrari was quite unique , it's really compatible with the gray colour
Ferrari does it again! I love it, it's sweet! I especially like the design of the grill and the front splitter. I really like the specs, the interior and the exterior. I also like the digital display and the infotainment center. The design of the Roma is somewhat similar to the F12 Berlinetta and the 812 Superfast. The silver Roma looks better than the white, but it would look much better in black, red, blue and other colors.
