    I love your opening line in many of your videos: “You must be wondering”. Thank you for always quenching my curiosity. Keep growing. Thanks

    I hardly get through one of these videos without walking outside to my vigorous growing seedlings. It's Summer here in the southern USA, humid, hot and time for best growth. Peter is an inspiration. Best on TH-cam.

    Thanks for another brilliant video, Peter. I particularly like when you do segments like the root cutting part as I find them especially informative and helpful. More videos about propagation would always be welcome.

    This kind of work in progress is so very interesting! Some day I will buy a mature bonsai(maple I think).Because with my half year experience I first want to experiment with young/cheap species to see how they react to my actions/pruning. Learning a lot from you Mr Chan. Thank you herons bonsai!

    I wonder if it would work that instead of pulling the dead tree, just chopping it way down to a stump to simulate a felled tree in a forest. Would love to hear your thoughts.

    Hi Peter, the forest looks great, - What's your opinion on moss?
    I also don't put moss on my forests because it causes problems with hungry birds pecking it away, exposing the trees' roots. Regards from Dave in Madrid

    • @peterchan3100
      @peterchan3100 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Let the moss grow naturally and that looks better. You can't help the birds pecking the moss though. Thats life.

    Enforcing rules does indeed spoil the hobby.
    Ive read a blog of a man who brought a tree his first time at a bonsai club and immediately other members stated that the tree would never become a good bonsai and is not worth the effort. 😅
