Good morning I wish I saw this video before yesterday. It was a hilarious experience try to clean it.

Great video, can you do an update video showing how you hooked up the 2 totes together, I'm going to stack mine and looking for suggestions and/or any problems to look out for. Thanks

Thanks for the info, I am considering getting one of these barrels also but do not like the way they look. I was thinking of a way to cover them, maybe strapping reed or bamboo fencing to it with zip ties to make it look more natural.

I think I have the same unit. How do I determine which hose adapter parts needed for bottom?

Great info, thanks for sharing it. I just bought two of these on Craigslist and this info on the threads will be really helpful. Regarding covers, if you search for "pallet covers" or "pallet tarps" you will find some standard-sized covers that should fit these. I have one on order from a placed called Tarps Direct via Amazon (no affiliation).

SUPER USEFUL VIDEO! Quite an help!
I wonder if there is a proper way to remove the valve? I was given one used tank with a crack on the valve (it leaks the water) and I need wither to repair it (but how???) or to remove it and find a substitute / use a tap / pipe / whatever to be able to control the water flow.
Thank you and greetings from Portugal.

Tudo Bem? (I was in Brasil for a while) I accidentally broke one of the valves. So, I cut it off with a hand saw. This left me with a PVC hole into the tank. I was able to find a piece of PVC pipe whose Outside Diameter matched the inside diameter of the hole. I cemented it in. From there I attached the proper fitting so that I could use a standard 3/4" ball valve that you can find in any hardware store. That also allowed me to attach a standard hose.

@@Vicos well... THANK YOU! That was just great! I guess I was just waiting for someone to come and give it a bit of his/hers testimony so I could feel a bit more motivated.
      I guess I will try it. ;)

I believe food grade just means that they previously only contained food, versus some toxic chemicals or something. I don't think it's a different kind of plastic, just what the tote contained previously.
