  • Mark Hudson, who has worked with numerous superstars like Ringo Starr, Ozzy Osbourne, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton and hundreds more, had some wonderful stories to tell when he recently visited the Gibson Showroom in New York City. In the conclusion of Gibson.com's exclusive interview with Mark, the one time Hudson Brother tells his favorite Ozzy story and explains the appeal of the popular Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camps. And finally, the man who's worked with guitar greats like Clapton and Zakk Wylde lets us in on his all-time favorite guitarist. Any guesses?

Mark is fascinating and a low profile major player in the business. I love this guy!

I always liked "Mr. Kirby". I had no idea the New Yorkers were the Hudson Brothers.

I'd forgotten about this song over the course of time until recent years. I loved it back then, and I still love it now, I think it's an absolutely beautiful tune. Great tune, great lyrics, it should be SO MUCH more of a classic than a forgotten song.

It's too bad that The Hudson Bros. were seen as a joke because of their TV show because Mark can really sing! They might have gone pretty far in the music business in the 70's!

@@dankelly5150 I hadn't thought of it that way. It's true they were thought of more of a novelty act than a serious musical group, and in all honesty I'm not familiar with any of their music except this song, but then I was more into harder rock than pop music.

@@ZippyThePinhead I was into hard rock and 70's metal at the time too but what caught my ear with these guys was a pretty cool rock song called "Coochie Coochie Coo".

I prefer this version of the song than the studio version I think the song is better on the piano and Mark Hudson is super talented

These guys were neither. As if having that tv show platform was a negative influence on their career. Please
