- Hi folks sorry we've had a quiet week but the daily grind of the day jobs and rubbish weather has meant we've not done a great deal this last week , in this vid we had a call to say they ( Sinnis ) where coming to collect the bike so thought i'd get out for 1 last final ride before it departed , many thanks to Sinnis for the loan and really looking forward to the next 1 .

Well said Shaun, you certainly have a way with words! It's very colourful the way you describe things, you can't help but laugh, you never seem to run out of things to say, you make disasters sound like a successful escapade. Keep 'em comin' most enjoyable
Awww thanks Reg just trying to have a bit of fun 👍🏍
I can’t describe how I felt when you said you could eat a packet of biscuits with a cuppa and a packet of crisps was now a family sized one atone sitting. I was starting to think it was just me, at least that what Allison was telling me.
Haha honestly mate i need to glue my lips together 🤣
Thanks for this video mate. Thinking of this as a first bike and I can see why people like it for that now.
It's a great bike really good value 👍
Great review Shaun and very funny! The wrong weather wrong clothing bit.. rag off 😂! So true, I'd love gortex but we haven't all got the funds for full gortex kit!
Cheers pal all just a bit of fun except the gore tex part as its shockingly expensive but maybe 1 day when I've sold a kidney
nice little bike ide like one for work after seeing it good review of it mate
It needs the tore exhaust; such a good sound. I’m tempted by this or the Renegade Freedom, and that is stonkingly good looking.
Yeah the hoodlum we loaned in a previous vid had a pipe on it which sounded amazing
Forget about scotland in February, if you want to enjoy the roads wait until after April, especially with fay having to get used to her new bike.
It was more of a visit my brother is from Falkirk , we went up in Feb 2019 and was beautiful but then last year we had wagons stuck there in March so swings and roundabouts .. saying all that it's not happening anyway as holidays haven't matched up so going abroad on my own this time 👍
@@TinsonTour was out yesterday and actually was quite mild and enjoyed the 60 0dd mile run, I stay not far away from Falkirk. only 18 mile away.
Ohhh mite be able to catch up next time we come up ?
Was absolutely laughing my head off at the speed run and then the armpit peak 😆
Haha all good fun pal 🤣
Excellent vid as always, best viewing of the week, brilliant 🏍🏍🏍
Awww thank you it's very much appreciated 👍 🏍
I feel your pain regarding Custard creams. I'm the same fella :)
Honestly pal i really have to sort it out 🤣🤣
O yea your spot on about 125s great choice now
They are so much fun aren't they 👍🏍
I've been looking for a 125 as I've done my CBT,looks really nice.
I was well impressed with it , 1st loan 125 i didn't wanna give back
Absolutely great seeing you in front of the camera again Shaun lad.. looking forward to all you'rs and Fayes adventures this year. You both are tops at producing videos. Great team.. regards to Faye. Keep safe and take care..
Cheers Frank hopefully some big trips this year 👍🏍
Same engine as the hoodlum and michigan, my michigan is lovely and smooth to ride 😀
Yep they all use the zs125 and Faye used to love her Michigan but this was way smoother ... could just be a 1off though👍🏍
This is almost identical to the Lexmoto Detroit that I ride, is has a few different but it’s pretty similar. Good review and love the all black design on the bike!
Yeah absolutely correct Lexmoto amd Sinnis share the same bike for a few models with mainy just small cosmetic changes 👍🏍
Nice to see you pal I hope that this year goes well for the pair of you Take care
Cheers pal fingers crossed 🤞
A big thumbs up to you young Shaun. An objective review of the 125. It's all to easy for us with A license to poo poo little bikes, most bikers have gone through the hoop. Although I've been a Triumph rider for 12 years, I am considering a AJP 250 just for trundling around the dirt tracks around my village.
Absolutely.... never gonna be a main bike and would only ever be a toy or work bike but so much fun 👍
Little singles are always worth it if it's city riding at low speeds. On the opposite end of the scale try a Yamaha MT-10 if you get the chance. I did and the thing is awesome and scary. Best of luck with the weight loss as I'm doing it to. Got to lose at least 15kilos so the quack says, no beer and cut out the junk food. It's hard life.
Yeah we are pretty much the same we've cut sugar , beer and bread out .... absolutely killing me at the moment but hopefully it'll get better 👍
Hey Shaun looking forward to all you'rs and Fayes adventures this year. love thise vids. love from snowy norway.
Aww thanks hopefully getting plans in place for this year .. so should be plenty of vids 👍🏍
Nice one tins 👍
Cheers pal 👍
Definitely thinking of getting myself one of these. Hopefully you can change the speedometer where KM/H are on the outside. Would be handy if you can.
Was a cracking bike proper good value 👍
my 23 plate Hoodlum is 5+ out on the speedo. 30 is 25 GPS, 20 is more like 14. going the other way, if it's reading 40 I'm doing 35... so while in calmed suburban I clock 40kph on the dial but the GPS reads dead on 20mph. Starting to get dial muscle memory and I've only had it six weeks...
Great. Really enjoyed it. Funny as fcuk!.. Looking for a 125cc as a second bike and impressed with this.
Haha thanks and tbh it's a cracking bike with no real bad points 👍🏍
Looks like a great bike. If they did a 250, it would defo be a contender for a 2nd bike.
Watching this is giving me itchy feet, I wish I could get out and ride here in 🇨🇭..., it's been under 0° and has often snowed for days. Last I rode was first week of Dec.
Ride safe and enjoy yourself, I think i'll stay at home and watch Faye paint. Greets to you both, S.
Cheers pal , when does the weather start to change for the better there ?
@@TinsonTour end Feb / early March but this winter there's been a little more snow than in others.
In the lower lands the roads are quite clean and dry but very cold.
Would like to see what you guys think of the RE meteor
Tried 1 for Faye it's a great bike but just not enough power for touring 👍
@@TinsonTour I expected more from a 350, not about speed but getting there is important! I have a vtwin 250 that has more go……as a 2nd bike that would be perfect!
@@peterhannan3816 yeah absolutely as a 2nd bike it'd be great but i took it on the motorway and as much as its a great bike it can't really keep with normal traffic speed and overtaking takes a lot of thinking and planning
Custard Creams - an open pack is an empty pack. Best biscuits in the world!
Haha isn't that the truth 🤣
Made me laugh when you were getting your head on the tank , reminded me of myself in the 80 ‘s on my Honda Mt 50 , ride safe 🏍🏍🏍
Haha every little helps 🤣🤣
Having had all sorts of bikes in over 50 years I have had a few 125s and I probably had more fun on them I even went to France afew times on a sinnis vista had a couple of sinnis bikes and they never let me down.
Yeah we've owned 2 and tested 4 now and all been spot on and so much fun 🏍👍
@@TinsonTour definitely I love the look of the outlaw I just hung up my helmet after some lowlifes tried to steal my 390 Duke no safe parking at my new address so I sold it .I now have a couple of ebikes and having so much fun I have cycle paths and canal paths 5 mins away. and My bikes live indoors you can't keep me off two wheels.
Great ride out and review Shaun.Think you may be getting a phone call from MCN shortly 🤣😂😅👍🏍🏁
Haha i won't hold my breath 🤣
Great video are you able to get the new sinnis gpx125 would love you guys to do a review
Yeah hopefully it's coming in the next few weeks 👍🏍
Shaun I reckon they could be using that rear ABS type sensor ,to calculate the Speedo readings .I can’t think of any other reason ,on a non ABS linked brake system . 69 mph on clock is not bad for un faired low HP 125 bike with air cooled cloned Suzuki GS/ GN engine lump ,being ridden by a large Africa twin Jockey . Also the engine is still new & will still be a bit tight for a couple of thousand miles . I reckon the recent Chinese built bikes from the top Chinese factory’s ,are just as good as any budget Japanese made models . I have a Suzuki wee Strom 250 built in China & from what I can see just as well built as any Japanese Suzuki I have owned . All bikes will rust in the U.K damp weather ,if neglected & allowed to rust . There is nothing wrong with accents I have a mild Scouse mixed with Cheshire accent ,life would be boring if we all sounded the same . You & Faye keep doing what you do ,take care & ride safe 👍
Cheer pal , as for the abs type wire I've no idea what it does as the speedo drive is on the front wheel ( old school screw in speedo cable ) and bang about the Chinese bikes looked after they look and last perfectly 👍🏍
@@TinsonTour That’s a bit puzzling ,I thought the bike had a retro looking speedo that worked by electrickery that took a reading by means of a sensor from somewhere like the front sprocket drive shaft ,or an ABS type disc sensor . As you have pointed out ,it has an old school cable drive from front wheel hub ,so it’s a mystery what the rear ABS sensor & wire is doing . Defiantly needs investigation it’s got me intrigued now ,if it’s being set up ready for a Euro 6 ABS upgrade . Some of the same machines like the Outlaw & Terrain are imported by companies in Europe from the same Chinese factory’s & badged with their own different names ,to flog in their own home markets . 👍
Yeah all the bikes are zongshen rebranded bikes using the zs125 (5gears) and zs125lc engines (6gears) but just wondering if that's how they corrected the wildly optimistic speedos .. tbh i wasn't that bothered it's was just something I'd noticed
@@TinsonTour Shaun you could have a point there about it possibly being used to correct wild inaccurate speedos . I noticed in the old days on cable operated speedos ,they were sometimes 5 - 7 mph out at around an indicated 70 - 75 mph . Italian clocks such as those on twist & rip Gilera runners could be wildly over optimistic . I always knock at least 5 mph off what any clock tells me at 70 mph on standard gearing . I wouldn’t be surprised if the engine on the little 250 Wee Strom , I downsized down to ,was knocked out by Zongshen ,is runs as sweet as a nut .They got all the cloned copies of Suzuki & Honda engines down to a fine art & even improved them with more efficient balancer shafts . 👍
Hi, the rear ABS ring is a road speed input for the fuel injection system. Great review, happy biking.
Great to see you out and about bud , good review on the outlaw 👌 good luck with the healthy eating I'm on a bit of a health kick as the Kevlars were getting a bit snug 🤣🤣
Cheers pal yeah that's my main reason as all the bike gear fits where it touches at the moment 🤣
Look great for a 125, would be one of my top choices if I was after a small bike
It's an absolute cracker 👍🏍
Great to see a seasoned biker get so excited about a 125 and you're right it looks pretty good. Scotland is having reasonably mild weather right now for the time of year, very little snow so far and only on higher ground. Wind chill does tend to make riding a little less comfortable though. February can be pot luck with snow still a possibility, it depends how far North you intend travelling and how high a ground you're riding. I'm in Perth the gateway to the Highlands and fairly low lying, yet I can see snow when there is any on the surrounding hills. Would love to meet up with you both if you do venture North 👍
Cheers pal yeah it's gonna be a last min job if we come up as it's pointless if its heavy snow .. be great to catch up if we venture up there 👍🏍
@@TinsonTour Don't know where you plan to have your stops, or how long you're planning your trip to be but keep in touch. I got out on the ZZR 1400 today for the first time in about 2 months, Sun was out but the old wind chill was fresh to say the least. Still haven't put the thermal liners into my suit perhaps more than a T-shirt underneath would have been wise.
Fans only page, one way of getting new gear big fella 😂
Just setting a webcam up as we speak 🤣🤣🤣
great entertainment shaun, absolutely laughed my head off at the zero to top speed run and to finally add that you gave it an extra push to make it go faster was brilliant. Great stuff. as always ride safe the both of you, cheers from Gary.
Haha worse thing is that shove gave me 3mph the 1st time 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Came for the bike, stayed for the dog xD
Haha love it 🐕 👍
Switch from crisps to rice cakes, the reason being they trick your stomach into thinking it's full as well as being much healthier (fats) and have a much lower calorie count because the key to losing weight isn't just down to what you eat but also the calories you consume.
Absolutely pal i used to advise others about the benefits of rice cakes when i was into fitness many moons ago ( played rugby for 20yrs and mountain bikes for 10 before it all fizzled out ) although much harder these days to practice what i preach.... saying that Faye is pretty disciplined when she wants to be 👍
I've been thinking of getting either this hoodlum or the hyosung aquila, personally I think the hyosung edges it on the looks, what's you thoughts as you have ridden them ,
Ohhh tricky 1 ... the Aquila is by far a better bike visually but the hoodlum rides better tbh it's just down to budget and personal taste but for me it's the Aquila anyday
@@TinsonTour yh I think so too it just looks so much better, but admittedly the outlaw does look really good in the yellow that I've seen,
Nice ride out Shaun, if you had to choose between the Sinnis Terrain or the Sinnis Outlaw what would you choose?
If i was only having 1 bike defo be the terrain but for me this was a better ride and the bike had something about it albeit its only ever gonna be a weekend/work bike
@@TinsonTour Thanks Shaun, all down to personal preference and how you intend to use it then I suppose.
Great looking 125 ,u should test ride a Harley 👍
That's defo on the list been wanting to try 1 for ages 👍🏍
Are you out and about on Sunday ?
Yeah pal but prob dinner time ish as gotta drop Sofia at work at 11am
@@TinsonTour out with Steve so I’ll drop you a text see if we are near each other ish around lunch , unless we are miles away , 👍
I’m looking at options for a first bike once I’m through my CBT at the end of the month, one thing I’m struggling to find in reviews is how well this level of bike deals with hills, what sort of power loss one could expect going up a steep hill (I’m in the South Downs)
Yeah fair question , tbf with Faye riding it didn't lose a great deal ( mainly because it revs out in top gear ) so bit left in reserve but with me on i was losing 10mph up steep hills 👍🏍
@@TinsonTour Good to know. Thanks for getting back! :)
Love the video mate. You proper made me laugh. I’m right on the cusp of getting my license and first bike and my gut says do a bit of time on a 125, but I know a couple bikers who say go straight in for DAS. I’m 41 now and basically never ridden so getting up to a 650 from nothing in a few days feels a bit scary but I’ve never ridden consistently so I dunno. What you reckon? Take a bit of time on a 125 or just go for it?
Tbh pal it is a big jump but if u think your up for it then no harm giving it a go ... 6 months on a 125cc would be invaluable though so if your in no mad rush that's the way I'd prob go 👍
This thing costs a couple of hundred £ more than my e-bicycle. And I have to pedal that!
Haha lad at work has an ebike that cost more than my car 🤣
It looks like a nice 125cc for anyone just starting on their bike journey. Are you guys planning and ride outs this weekend d or soon with the weather bing nice? 😉
Hoping to get out Sunday pal , Fayes been snowed under with work but defo giving it a go on Sunday
@@TinsonTour good stuff, may see you out and about. Not sure where I am going yet, maybe the carousel or further
Most people swear by ybr or cbr for 125 and have nothing but bad things to say about Chinese bikes. What makes me feel a little uncomfortable here is are we watching an honest review or a review after a collaboration with sinnis
Don't feel any discomfort it's only a TH-cam vid and i know u don't know me but if u did ud never question my integrity .
Pleasant bike!
It's actually not that bad , we did a 45mile round trip it was just about acceptable 👍
It's about fun. And this bike would seem to gave it in abundance. What more could a 17 year old want?
Did you know the body naturally takes on weight for the winter? Stone age reaction before hibernation. Can't fight nature, it's been around too long. Mines a pint with pie to mop it up..
Happy travels 👍
Haha mine takes on more than its fair share pal 🤣
eyup shaun this bike reminds me of the cagiva coguar 125 its bloody awful over here aswell rain and ice and fog and as accents go shaun i understand you clearley in barnsley where i live we all talk with a mouth full of broken spanners LMFAO
Yeah this weather doesn't half get me down ... mouth full of spanners 🤣🤣🤣
@@TinsonTour aye 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sinnis do a 250
Hopefully getting their new 125 sportsbike next few weeks
You get a like and no manc comments . You get an SV
As well , real world you dont need owt faster
Absolutely pal 👍 🏍
You could spend thousands trying to cut 15kg from the weight of a bike but slimming down the rider has to have same effect and could save money in the process......at least that's what I keep trying to tell myself to get the motivation to loose the gut.
Haha i hear pal 👍🏍
My 20 month old Michigan could go in a showroom right next to a brand new one and look just the same. Dickheads and kids that know nowt give Chinese bikes a bad reputation. I know mine has to go at some point for a different bike when I go Mod 1 & 2 but I'll miss the little belter.
Absolutely couldn't agree more pal 👍
LOL @ Number plate. I wanna be a GUZZI
Haha 🤣 😄
MOTRON REVOLVER 125 1:1 Same :D
And lexmoto Detroit plus a few others 👍
