    28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
    29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

    I agree with Hon Kaluma's well thought opinion on the current gay conversion, and cbc curriculum/ system of education.
    The mp has somehow relaxed on politicking and intelligently decided to address issues affecting our education, social fabric of our society(with quest to protect and maintain our Kenyan culture and traditions), and has also expounded on various Kenyan laws as enshrined from our constitution and how the laws affect our social, economic and political well being to enhance prosperity as a people and a nation.
    It's my prayer to his constituents to keep on electing this young legislature to give other Kenyans to benefit from his well thought conversations. It is a part of nature. Over 1500 species exhibit homosexuality. God created some animals homosexual. They did not make a choice. God gave them the instinct to do this. If it was an abomination God would never allow it in animals.
      In one study they found a homosexual penguin couple who took turns sitting on an abandoned egg. And once it hatched., They took turns feeding it. This may be the very good reason God made a portion of humans to be homosexual to take care of the abandoned children of heterosexuals.🙏

    His whole argument fell apart when he started talking about transgenders. This discussion, and issue, is much more subtle and nuanced than any of them are getting to. For the discussion to have any coherence whatsoever, they need to define what homosexuality means beyond just the physical act. There are deep psychological aspects of sexuality in general, both hetero and homosexual. Also, there needs to be a clear definition of what constitutes an unnatural act. What authority is considered when determining a human biological act as being unnatural? How much weight is given to religious doctrine when crafting civil law? Which religion will carry the most weight? How much to "culture" and "tradition"? How much to scientific research and evidence? All of these questions, and many more, need to be considered when passing laws and prescribing punishments that have such dire consequences for individuals in a widely diverse and cosmopolitan society such as Kenya clearly is.

    • @antony6799
      @antony6799 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kenya is not diverse or cosmopolitan in regards to this issue, majority of Kenyans are against it, the law of the land, the constitution passed by majority of Kenyans clearly states that it's a crime, why cant people get that? There's no discussion to be had here, its simply an unpopular issue with the majority, end of story. If you don't like the laws, find another country,.Its like a thief frantically trying to force and justify his behavior in a society that clearly outlaws robbery,will you entertain him? it's simply absurd if you think about it

      @tomm487 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      ..that is his point to rile up emotion to garner support to just pass the law in parliament.He knows that if he wades into detail, his arguments will collapse into themselves. People wear clothes with faces of known criminals as fashion daily...isn't that promotion of criminality too? and police then must , by his reasoning, arrest those people too. I assume that a law saying that would be thrown out based on it's violation of freedom of speech so his rainbow flag shirt argument for arrest would meet the same fate too , no??

      Very good question! The idea that homosexuality is a purely imported European phenomenon is laughable at best. It exists and has existed as a human psychosexual phenomenon in all corners of the world. This is a very complicated human issue, and even if it were possible to eradicate or even control it by legislating against it, the arguments need to have some scientific backing to hold any water. Even Kaluma admits that prosecuting in a court of law an act that is overwhelmingly carried out by consenting adults in highly intimate settings is next to impossible. The one glaring outcome of such a law would be a source of blackmail and character destruction and assassination that would come as a result of rivalries and jealousies that have nothing to do with actual sexuality or even physical acts.

    • @antony6799
      @antony6799 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      People need to Stop the hate!
      Hating people because of who they love, is just plain stupid. There's no difference between a racist and a homophobe.
      The United Nations of Human Rights, comprised of countries around the world, make decisions on what is against human rights. And they have declared countries that have laws against homosexuality are against INTERNATIONAL human rights. So saying it’s my country my rules, does not work. You are still against international human rights law.
      “Since its founding in 1945, the United Nations political bodies had not discussed LGBT rights (regarding equality regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity) until 1994 through the favorable resolution of the Toonen v. Australia case by the UN Human Rights Committee, which dictated that the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights states that laws against homosexuality are a violation of human rights.”
      👏👏👏💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🌈🌈🌈
      Human beings get smarter as they age. Otherwise we live in the dark ages forever. As new information and facts evolve so do our minds. Bravo to those who realize this❤️🏳️‍🌈
      The world is realizing they were wrong about homosexuality, and they are correcting that wrong. Just as they did with slavery. If we didn’t have some white men stand up for their black brothers and say slavery was wrong we would still have slavery today. Thank the Lord, heterosexuals are now standing up for their homosexual brothers and sisters, saying it is wrong to discriminate as well.
      "First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out-because I was not a socialist.
      Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out- because I was not a trade unionist.
      Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-because I was not a Jew.
      Then they came for me-and there was no one left to speak for me."-MARTIN NIEMÖLLER
      This is how society evolves, moving forward progressing and making itself a better place for all.
      There is nothing evil or wrong about two people loving each other and wanting to take care of each other for the rest of their lives, and perhaps adopting children from an orphanage that have no parents, and creating a family. It is none of anyone's business who people love, especially because they cause noone any harm.
      And countries are making great changes quickly. In 2021 several countries, new legislation was introduced while, in others, regressive laws were scrapped. New policies decriminalized homosexuality, provided protection for trans people against discrimination, and made it easier for the community to access healthcare.
