Another great video Andrew. Miss big Tony being with you demonstrating the overhead clearance, or lack there of. Newmar’s quality is above and beyond. I especially appreciate the ease of that rear emergency egress door, so simple. Sweet looking entry stairwell. The large oversized battery storage compartment was well engineered and designed. Safe travels Andrew.
ive looked at there specs on each website and i think the basic difference is renegade/showhauler have a little stronger/bigger chasis and components but newmar has a little bit nicer interiors. For example you can get a showehauler usually come with a cummins 15 or DD 15 engine but newmar comes with a DD12 engine. but the newmar comes with no carpet on the slides and flush flat floors.
Not even a comparison. Newmar uses the M2 and Showhauler/ Renegade (classic, XL, Explorer, and Ikon) use a class 8 chassis. This Newmar is way overpriced considering it’s on an M2 chassis.
Izzy and Andrew, do you have any concerns that this is the first year Newmar has built a Super C? I'm thinking maybe Renegade is a safer bet at this point since they've been doing it a lot longer. Might wait to see how these Supreme Aires fare over the next couple of years. They do look great, though.
Very nice. I wonder if that big window above the cab has a shade. That would be hell in the AZ heat. Servicing the engine sure would be a snap. Too bad the sofa was so short. Heather- Don’t let Court see this video! 😜
3:45 I wonder if it would be a good idea to put wheels under the chair legs so they roll when you seat yourself and want to move around and get closer to the table similar to an office chair rather than dragging them while seated and trying to move closer to the table?
So many very cool conveniences. So many electronic gizmos that could fail! That thing would have to come with a 3-day service guarantee via an approved Nationwide network of service providers. The electrical must be as sophisticated/complicated as a Prevost conversion.
Does any1 make a thin film u can add on inside of windows to give u polarized sunglasses rose colored happy widows? Also yellow shooter night driving windshield film. Or a combo polarized & yellow tint all in 1 filter photograph improved driving?
Glass window above cab is a leak waiting to happen. Give it a few years and some miles. Bad thing is you won't know till you smell the mildew or see the stains...Newmar will drop it in a few years once the complaints start. Otherwise, this coach puts the Super in Super C !
as nice as it is, its still a freight shaker (freightliner) trust me, my 45' (freightliner) drives like a semi as well, feels like one too. not the smoothest ride. another great video Andrew, and as always stay safe and give Sadie some love for me.
This rig is built on a commercial truck chassis just like the one I drive everyday. Not a luxury ride at all. Just a truck with a LOT of expensive lipstick on it.
I think the appeal to the Class C is the ease of maintenance and accessibility of the engine compartment, the ability to service them anywhere, and the longevity of the unit. I was 100% in the Class A camp, but there are some advantages to the Super C.
Don't understand why the driver and passenger seat are stock Freightliner leather and not redone by Newmar in a $500k+ coach. Not to mention the whole cockpit is in dire need of a makeover. It has been the same for decades. Other than that, sweet ride.
Yeah, I have to agree about the cockpit. Looks very plain. Interestingly the Renegade cockpits using the Freightliner chassis are quite a bit better looking.
Take a thin say 1" gas line type conduit, usely a yellow color & bend an arch & 2 end female anchor pnts secured to side of truck hood. It is a que stick. When u hve it right length bend of arch it tells u just right safe distance to car/truck u r behind in front of u. There bumper should b sitting on top of arch. 1 piece of pipe is empty & other piece/length of pipe is full yellow w/black electrical tape (yellow jack it look). This way u can dummy remember to switch it & cars looking to get in front of u can tell if u hve a load on. These r big semi trucks w/ novice drivers so v/RV helpful. Also when tired like truckers get your dummy stick + new radar keeps u in the moment(every sec is precious). U can error your stick or hve extra heavy long 3rd stopping stick yellow w/red & black electrical tape.
As a retired OTR Driver I prefer the true Super C's but I have to ask. Will the top tier Class A parks like the ones in Montana, Nevada and Florida like the ones you've been showing us lately allow an owner of a Super C of this level into the parks? Will they also allow an owner of one of these to purchase a lot or lots? Just wondering because I've heard that most Class A parks on that level will not allow Super C's to become a part of their communities...
Every Super C video you've ever been in is the best on the market. How can they all be the best? That would mean there is no room for improvement. We know that's not true.
@@MikeBrownOhio anything above 26,000 GVWR is likely to need a license upgrade in most states. Not always a CDL. Here in TX, we have Class A and B NON-CDL available.

I like everything except for the cabinets above the kitchen window and above the dining table those two areas would look nice and feel better more roomy without the cabinets and larger windows
Okay.......move the microwave ... maybe on angle just before bathroom and put in full window. Get rid of all cupboard space above sink and cook area as well. Always too much storage for my liking in most of these rigs. Next put in four seat dinette set and get rid of that office look. then its perfect.
So beautiful, but I am not gonna lie, with that much stuff to learn, it’s a bit too techy for an old guy like me. I think of how often I will need a technical assistance person.

We toured the Supreme Aire in Tampa. Newmar now set the bar for Super C’s in our opinion. Thanks for the video.

Nice coach with a gorgeous interior! BUT... for 600k it would be nice if they used the Cascadia chassis over the M2.
Renegade XL uses the Cascadia
KW or Pete
The M2 is a good bit cheaper than the Cascadia chassis, so that $600k would be more like $800k+ depending on options.
I totally agree even though I don't know what you're talking about

Hi Stan I’m back
Best of both worlds. Newmar and a Super C. Can't go wrong with that combo.
Awesome. Would love to have one but its outside my price range. Thanks, great video. Go Army
If I can get another wall clock in the living room I’d be sold.😉
Beautiful rv, outside & inside good design!

Me: Andrew, I need to show you something that isn't nice...
Andrew: Nice!
THANKS, ANDREW. IT IS PRETTY NICE. HOWEVER ITS PRICE IS WAY TOO HIGH. FOR THAT COST, I'D RATHER A CLASS A MODEL. BUT AGAIN IT IS NICE.
Electric heat strips under the floor in *addition* to hydronic, or in place of it? I'm assuming it has both.
Quick question can you add a tv over by driver and passenger so the person that sitting in the couch / love seat can see
Super cool this is the life!"
Circle or small screen sized so u can spot small signs at a quick glance far enough ahead to take-in that info & process it & use it.
Still prefer a Class A for the amazing panoramic view you get with a large windshield. Also the quietness of a rear engine. To each its own.
YEP, ME TOO. THIS IS A NICE CLASS SUPER C, BUT IT IS OVERPRICED. IT CANNOT COME CLOSE TO THE CLASS A MODELS.

For 500k I would want something that looked more like a tesla or cybertruck rather than a normal semi
This is why I couldn't buy one because I drive a truck and I sure wouldn't want to still be driving one for recreation
Yeah, I have to agree about the cockpit. Looks very plain. Interestingly the Renegade cockpits using the Freightliner chassis are quite a bit better looking.
Im seeing great videos on super c rv. Im trying to suck in all the info at once. To drive a coach like this what type of license would I need?
Can you get these with Air Disc Brakes?
These are years ahead of the Renegade rivals, so much more modern with better materials and innovation throughout!
Pure class, would love one. What driving licence do you need
It depends on which state you live in. Some states, I think is 8, require a CDL. Most states do not.

he is so rough with the cabinets!lol
Newmars are great, but I don’t like the lack of a bunk over the cab. That’s just sacrificing precious space.
Sound quality needs to be improved. Overall, good video.
I don’t understand the attraction of the super C. They offer nothing that can’t be found in a CL A, and you cannot take it into CL A only resorts.
Safety, easier service, and in many cases towing capacity.
