    Very good Explanation frm you of Distance Protection Relay mam, for me I am an engineer & working in power transmission lines so I know about the complete system,but you can make make more easy to understand for normal public so atleast they have an idea how it generally works.     Ye to aapne dynamic Relay ka btaya but agar hum static Relay use kar rahe ho to ye Relay kaise work karega qki static Relay me koi dynamic part nhi hota to fir deflecting torque kaise produce hogi . Please clear my doubts

      sorry for late reply.. mho is a type of distance relay. mho relay is a high speed relay and is also known as admittance relay ..and sometimes it is called as angle impedence relay.

      @@riteshpaul5968 it is used for the protection of EHV/UHV protection lines. they are generally used for the protection of long transmission lines due to its stability in case of power swing.....

      In these types of relays transient and steady state errors occurs... and these errors will further encountered by conventional distance relays..
