Before Odasaku died, he told Dazai that nothing will fill the void that he feels, being in the mafia won't stop his s*cidal thoughts, or make him feel any happier. So he told him to be a good person, to help people, at least that will feel a little bit better than being a murderer. For why he is s*cidal , we don't know, people don't need to have a reason for being depressed
The part where Dazai shouts "Odasaku", the part where Dazai's bloodied hand is shown when the lyrics say "pain" and also, when Dazai starts shouting to Odasaku to stop talking and that he's going to be okay, all of those are so impactful!!✨

This guy has been through so much it’s crazy. Mamoru Miyano did an outstanding job voicing Dazai, and I have no doubts he’ll keep doing it. I’m very excited to see what’s under his sleeve for bsd s4, and also how he’s going to pull off Douma, but knowing that they chose Miyano for both characters, gives me plenty of hope 😚😚
