Seeing the Hot Wheels video today, made me go back to watch the other videos in the series. I can remember when I was a kid and the Duncan Yo-Yo man came to our school. He gave everyone an imperial Yo-Yo and then tried to teach us tricks, like "Walk the Dog". I think kids in school today miss out on things like that.
Your right. Kids today have their faces in their📱phones📱24/7 or tablets. Video games, social media, Farcebook, Twit ter, and whatever else they get onto has really been a detriment. Kids back in the 70's used to play OUTSIDE, USE THEIR IMAGINATION! Not race around shooting each other on kites. I had the Yo-Yo demonstration too, and while I loved watching it, I could only do maybe 3 or 4 tricks. I could walk the dog, for about 1-2 feet. Then splat...lol.
@@EdsterIII Oh yeah. My dad gave me a half used ball of twine he'd used to tie his tomato plants to a stake and said, here go play. I spent hours outside, making roads or corrals for my toy horses .... I loved that half used ball of twine!!!
The chatter phone came first, toy story used it later. There are a lot of toys in toy story that are real toys. Like Barbie, Mr Potatoe Head, toy soldiers etc

I thinks it kinda unfair that they have such a simple yo-yo and drawing spinning top. But have things as detailed as the chatter phone, hot wheels and the Polaroid camera. I would be kind of disappointed if I got a yo-yo or spinning top. That's just my opinion. My favorite one of these would be the Polaroid camera or the Chatter phone.
