  • I tested out some motion picture film stocks, and I have to say that I absolutely love the results!
    BTW, the Pentax smc 50mm f1.2 lens is such an amazing optic wonder. So is the Pentax KX SLR, feels more sturdy than my Nikon fm2.

    Wow...! Really nice shots and I do like the way the color reads! The portrait compositions - very sweet! Very nice!
    I typically like seeing video accompany the photos, so I can “be in the place” that the photo was taken, but I still enjoyed this video as it was.
    I’m considering making videos as well - to share with the photography community.
    I’m going through your videos at the moment- enjoying them.

      good to hear that! Yeah I would love to accompany videos with photos but as I'm the guy doing both of these stuffs it gets a bit annoying and into my shooting experience. As for the music, they are from academic sound.

      Thank you for sharing the music source. I like your music choices for the videos. Good vibe.
      As for accompanying the video with your photos, I completely understand. Great work. Thank you for sharing!

    Sick photos, Jimmy!! Did your lab (using the ECN2 method), took a lot longer to develop/waiting time? Been wanting to shoot this motion picture film stock, I just haven't tried it out yet. Our local film lab takes 3 weeks to process.

    Beautiful shots. I like both. Did I understand correctly that your lab finally adopted ECN2?

    Great video. I'm new to film photography so have some questions.
    1. Is this 35mm film and can it be put into the likes of a Canon AE1 camera?
    2. Where can the 5219 film be bought online??

    Good pictures! Did you overexpose it +1 stop (ISO 250 and 25) or did you just shoot it at normal box speed?

    • @JimmyCheng
      @JimmyCheng  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if I remember correctly I did over expose 0.5-1 stop out of habit of shooting too much Portra400 lol

      @@JimmyCheng Awesome! Thanks for the info. I'll be shooting some Vision3 soon and I've heard it's recommended to overexpose 1 stop when shooting cinema film on a photo camera. I just wanted to make sure that overexposing is the way to go.
