Scrappy Homemade Christmas Tree Table Runner - Christmas In July

- #sisterchicksquilting This was fun, I made the pattern up as I put it together, good thing it's so simple! I used scraps with some yardage. I'll put the measurements and fabric requirement below.

CUTTING AND CONSTRUCTION TIPS FOR CHRISTMAS TREE TABLE RUNNER
Piece random strip's together until the strip is 6" wide. The length can be as long as yoru strips. Square up upr strip sets to 6" wide then cut them into 4 1/4" rectangles, you will need 12. Cut them per the video to make the trees. I used a finished green triangle as a patter to cut the 16 white triangles then I used the 1 1/4" X 6" rectangle to make the side half triangles.
Note: PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR LEFT & RIGHT when you're cutting the solid half of the green triangles and the white end of row pieces.
The red strips and border are cut at 1 1/2" and finish at one inch. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต

Although in this version they appear to be Christmas tree 🎄 🌲 🌳 I can think of so many other possibilities. I m afraid we might even think quite alike, lol.

I've fallen in love with triangle 🔺️ shapes because they just are never boring.
This week I'm proud of actually finishing 5 or 6 different table mat or mug rug projects that have binding. It's good to practice one solid skill set at a time so you can improve the results 💪 👍 👌 😉.

Question, when making a.table runner, do you make a.whole quilt sandwich, or just a backing?
I always use 100% cotton or 80/20 batting. Which gives it stability and a place for the threads to lock. My fave quilting on a table runners is a heavy background pattern, it just looks so good. Thanks for watching😊🎄❤️🐥
Good morning to you, I am in need of your help and ideas. I have quite a few older womens handkerchiefs, and I would like to make a quilt with them. What do you think? Thank you for your time 🤗
Good morning to you as well Annie, and thank you for watching my videos. I’ve seen two handkerchief quilts at quilt shows. I believe that there are two options, one some people like to use their handkerchiefs as the actual fabric, and in that case I would back them all with Pelon brand SF 100. It’s a lightweight woven fusible interfacing. The other option that I’ve seen would be to stitch them to the top of your block right to the fabric, not using any interfacing. The second way would certainly show any fancy frilly edges if you have them well the first option would cover those up because it would be tucked in the seam allowance.
You could use sashing or not I also think it would be really eye-catching if the hankies were placed on point. There’s just so many options. I hope my suggestions help.

If you google hankerchif quilts on theinternet there are many pictures to give you ideas. Thats where I saw the on point picture which I really liked.
