Steve's work has brought tears to eyes many times since 70s. In happiness, sadness, downright appreciation, a mix of all three. This has exactly that beautiful effect. Far-out. Thank you
🙏 thank you so much for posting this 🙏 The first time I watched it a few years ago now 🤔 ( pre the long awaited Orchestra and choir at Birminghams Symphony Hall ) I was so emotional , tears of joy flooded my eyes for this long awaited and yearned for live deliverance of Sebastian with an Orchestra , as it was recorded in the studio back in 1973 with the Royal philharmonic Orchestra and choir on the first album , Human Menagerie ! Absolutely exquisite 😘 Friend For life Says it all here ! magical 🙏 thank you 🙏
Steve's was just one of those first voices that made me sit up as a child (from about the age of 4) and want to know more. Mr Soft, Judy Teen, Hideaway, Ritz, Mr Raffles, Sebastian, and the crazy Such a Dream (a b-side I soon owned on 7" vinyl). I don't like too much nostalgia-tripping through music these days, but I'm planning to play every Cockney Rebel album over the next week or so -- with my daughter, aged 7.
Great music Steve. You were one of the dirty dozen who influenced my life. I am sorry to say despite your great Talent. "You were silenced by gov with the c o n game. Except they didn't silence all your fans . Operation Shamrock ☘ 2024 has you covered Brother. ❤xxxx
You can figure ( You have to figure his bio out....yourself , there's no reason ....for .....no ' typical reason...maybe...) His emotional strength in his lyrics....is the rediculous thing. It's out of proportion , ...He says in ; Best Years Of Out Lives , " lf l could run , l'd come running to you....! " And he cannot run ,as of being a childhood victim of Polio . And so , he's dropping these huge emotional cues in his songs , ( That would make anyone cry ...to pen ..) And , he's not crying. ( Mr Harley , sir me dad was a Newspaper Man in New York ....)
R.I.P. Steve Harley, Thank for the wondeful music.

1975 for me Hanley S-O-T Heavy Steam machine great gig.

He's an elite poet with many references to his faith and to polio in other works
Why are they sitting down
What’s with volume 🤬
If this fails to move you need more roughage in your diet!
What do you mean?
Dårlig lyd!!
May i ask, what exactly is not enjoyable about this or do you just prefer the studio version???
@@BACALL1965 I'm a big Steve Harley fan from Norway so "Dårlig lyd" means "bad sound", That's all!
