This is by and far the best explanation for the confused minds out there. Especially your Rheumatologist usually are busy with back to back patients they forget to give full information.
I was diagnosed with ‘undifferentiated inflammatory enthesitis’ as I don’t have Arthritis or Psoriasis and was told that it was a very mild autoimmune and immune system had attacked cells and have positive ANA. Even though I don’t have ‘undifferentiated inflammatory arthritis’ I found this video helpful because it explains why we sometimes don’t have a specific disease name even if it’s caused by the immune response. I was given a steroid injection to bring inflammation down so hopefully it helps. Thank you for the video information however there doesn’t seem to be much info online regarding the term ‘endifferented inflammatory enthesitis’
Undifferentiated enthesitis will either remain as such or might later evolve to one of the members of the family called Spondylarthritis which include psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis and other diseases.. Whatever starts as (undifferentiated) statistically (and hopefully) is not a mild disease
This is a great video! I started out as undifferentiated, and eventually got a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis. Doctors tended to respect the RA diagnosis more than UCTD, even though my symptoms barely changed. The biggest difference was my hands and wrists were impacted. Previously it was only the large joints.
Truly undifferentiated arthritis is the first step of presentation for many of the known arthritic diagnoses where diagnostic criteria are nicely fulfilled.
Brilliant breakdown! I had the UCTD diagnosis for 3 years before getting the RA diagnosis. My rheumy first suspected lupus until my hands and wrists became so primarily involved. I always had a positive RF and the other stuff, but never the Anti-CCP. I guess that is why I was grey.🤷🏽
At last! Some answers to the questions I have been asking for 15 years… i never get answers in my sessions with my rheumatologist. I always get brushed off… I am the type who likes to understand. It started with lupus, then the diagnosis became RA and now it is unclear… quite confusing. What if it’s none?
Sir can we face forgetfulness or memory loss (like forgetting names of friends, things, and places etc. in the age of 20 to 30) because of rheumatoid arthritis ,I'm diagnosed with RA by rheumatologist. Plz reply

Could be a third diagnosis rather than none

This can happen if we have a condition called fibromyalgia associated with rheumatoid arthritis
