Tucking a normal white t shirt in ypur blue jeans with a black leather belt is very common among architects, and their profession is aesthetics and looksy very cool if you are in great shape

I disagree with not tucking in a T-shirt I love the look from the 1950’s where they would tuck in their shirts it’s a great look.

I would never wear polo shirt to the office but hypothetically would you wear it untucked, or avoid the combination altogether?
polo shirt + say, khaki pants or something more casual than slacks would work
I do the half tuck only the front that way whatever belt I wear it can be noticed you wear a belt too accessories the out fit

I tuck in my polo shirts with chinos (pin-rolled) my boat shoes, a fedora hat (fragrance Nautica Voyage) and my sunglasses (outdoors only) I get ALOT of compliments and positive looks Especially from ladies so I will continue to tuck in my polo shirts (my waist is an athletic 30 inches so it works for me my shoulders are very broad too so having it tucked in is advantageous for my body type, and yes I do workout) now t shirts I do not tuck those in so I agree with that but polos are never untucked for me
I tuck in my t shirt with chinos or dress pants and a nice pair of loafers. Looks nice. Only don't tuck t shirt with jeans
100% agreed. You can definitely tuck in your t-shirts and polos in your chinos/dress pants. You just gotta have the right t-shirt and learn how to dress it up. Add some loafers w/ no show socks and a weaved leather belt. Maybe a Panama hat. And you're good to go.

I disagree polo shirt is optional with the tuck. Dress shirt always full tuck

06:20 very good advice. This look way better than fully deep tucked in front . Even in formal outfits this looks much more cleaner and better without any tuck suspenders.

So I wear a polo to work all of the time. I tuck it in all the time. So the rule about polo shirts I don't understand. With jeans untucked I understand but with khakis it looks sloppy untucked.
As a fellow Crohnnie, I am aware that untucked makes us look thinner.... but I am getting and wearing the untucked short sleeve print button shirts..... especially in the heat...

I have a pair of grey sneakers on the way. For now I will try pairing them with grey and light stone chinos. I guess they would also work with dark denim.

I think I look good with fully tucked tshirts especially on oversized tshirts. If you don’t look good on a fully tucked tshirt,try it with different kinds of fits or different kinds of pants.

I can only imagine it for a long-sleeve polo.
I think the half-tuck is the clear winner in a casual situation. It breaks up the mid section really well.

The only thing I could understand is about dress shirts.
I mean polo shirt paired with chino pants looks sloppy when untucked or half tucked.
I like to wear my polo's under a long sleave shirt
but leave the buttons all undone,
so the long sleave shirt actually functions as some coat,
looks fine and comfortable, but be careful not to go overboard
with wild patterns, clashing between the polo and the long sleave shirt,
also check the 2 collars of the same hight so it doesn't look to ridiculous.

I went to a private school growing up and our dress code required us to tuck our polos into our khakis with a belt at all times. I wish this channel was around in the mid-late 2000's!
Should you tuck/ half tuck in a sweater
I half-tuck only if I wear a bomber jacket and un-tuck as soon as I take it off. It may look ok from the front but the side view is always off and if it is a casual long or short sleeve shirt it makes your ass look like you are wearing a diaper. If you are wearing a T or Polo which is still long enough to not be too short but it almost is, it I can imagine wearing it half-tucked but regular well fitting T or Polo nah...

I’m 52 years old with slender build. I tried the half tuck and like the look but my wife and daughter don’t like the look. Maybe they’re trying to say it looks too youthful or something. I went back to untucked for now.

Never tuck in your t-shirt??? Is that an American thing because everyone in Asian countries, like Korea and Japan tucks in their t-shirt. It’s super casual, even with jeans or shorts and looks good for both women and men.

Its weird bu tucking my shirt has been the hardest thing to nail in my style journey...for some reason
I think that that arm raising trick(post-tuck) w/long sleeve button-up is kind of a revelation.

Polo shouldn't be causal business, imo. Typically casual business is a button down with chinos, no tie, maybe a blazer
@@lowxclazz Gotcha. Learn something new every day. The thing is everyone at the job wears polo shirts with slacks and chinos. Especially the polos with our company logo.
