I love this comment!!! 1000x That's what we are trying to bring you guys, the stuff no one else is. We have the place to do it, and it's fun for us to share, so expect more, way more this season as we explore more baits underwater!!!
You said something in this video about a suick being silent but you would be amazed how loud the hooks hitting the metal tail and the body are. I remember watching a video years ago about under water baits and the suick was actually incredibly loud. Always wondered if that metallic clank noise they make is part of the magic of a suick
Your right, I guess I was thinking more about the outright noise of say a blade etc, but your right there is that ticking noise. Many guys 'T' the hooks on Suicks to avoid digging into wood or the tail. Thx for watching! Interesting point there!
Thx Owen, we're always trying to bring as much as we can! Info I wish I knew sooner, hopefully it will help other as well! Appreciate you checking it out!
Glenn, thanks for the great video and the fantastic information. I have fished LOTW for over 35 years and have got into Muskys for the last 2 years, 4 so far one 42 3/4". I plan on fishing a lot of Suick and tube in 2024 and will incorporate your rigging. Thanks, you guys do good work!
Norm, appreciate you and hope some of it helps. Tubes and Suicks are standard issue baits in our boat, so you're on the right track there! Thanks for watching!
Great video! Thank you for sharing your setup; I'm definitely going to give it a try. For the trailing blade, what thickness wire and what size ball-bearing swivel would you recommend?
Thanks for watching! For the blade and swivel, size really doesn't matter as its not serving any strength application. So use what ever is handy or you have available.
Another awesome vid Glenn, love how you guys explore the “why” part of it! I feel the same way about the blade being offset I was always curious what the underwater difference between a 10” monster and a twisted was.
Thanks for the comment, we like to share the 'why', in our opinion that's what can help others. It was fun getting them all in the water and we plan to do some more underwater footage nutcracker year. Appreciate you watching!
We go deep, we go to infinity and beyond... lol We try to bring everyone the next level stuff that will actually help them make the best decisions possible. Appreciate you being one of the 54 OG's as it were, thx!
I've heard it's similar to your design, I don't have your subscription so I haven't seen yours. I also heard you changed your rig last summer. I figured showing the public the inside of a rig is only going to help sell more Red October Baits. Thx for watching!
Great information and video Glen, going to have some tubes with me on the boat this year. Looking forward to trying them on Eagle and my home bodies of water.
Amazing vid Glenn. Great job, love this one and will put most of these mods to use myself. The ROB guys are local to me and they are great baits to use on the Upper Niagara River here. Thanks for the vid!
Thank you Craig for watching! We're just here to help in any way we can. Lots of tube mods out there, this is our take on them. Again, it works for us! Appreciate all your support!
Wire size really doesn't matter. I tend to use 051, it's easy to work with. Blade size depends on what you want from it, the bigger the blade the slower the drop in slack line. Willow blades are nice or #6/#8 Colorado. Thx for watching!
In Ontario we are allowed 4 hooks, each one can be a Treble. So our rigging is legal in Ontario. Interesting that your rigs are different? Thanks for watching!
Im curious whether you guys think this is a legal bait in Minnesota? It would appear not based on it having 4 hooks on the bait. Thoughts? I really would like this to be legal cuz I already rigged one up like this, but I can’t see how it would circumvent the rule banning more than 3 treble hooks on a single bait. 😅 is there a good way to mod this so it excludes the giant jig hook?
Unfortunately, I'm in Ontario and can not comment on whether this is legal or not in MN. I do know it's 100% legal in Ontario under our regulations. The easy answer is too cut the single upturned hook off on the shank. But please check with local DNR to double check the legality. Appreciate you checking this one out!
Pretty interesting catch with the audio! Makes sense that the sound of a tube is unique when you think of the shape and the action creating that suction. Let’s get Dave some tanks and send him deeper next time! Talk about big sexy!😂
Interesting, that's exactly why we do this, everyone sees things differently and just you saying that gives me an idea on how to use the twisted tube! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment!
With the sun at our backs I guess it does. I never really noticed that before. That's a good idea for a video, compare the actual visability of different brands of line. Thx for watching!
I wish I could smash the thumb 1000x on this one! Love the explanation of righings and the underwater sound stuff. Please do more!
I love this comment!!! 1000x

Super good video. Love fishing with tubes. Thanks for the mention on the custom accessories!!
That bell sounds wicked
Thanks for watching and the custom bell hooks are awesome and you really can hear them doing their thing! Appreciate all your support Droptine!
Elite tube rig. The jingle bells just give it that small difference from everyone else and sometimes that’s all it takes. Love tubes
Thx Kyle, the Jingle Bell Mod, I like that! Appreciate you watching!
Thanks for sharing how you rig these in detail. Very helpful!
Glad to help! If it works for us it should work for you! Thx for watching!

Would love to hear some underwater audio of a straight vs. jointed crank bait! Thanks for the great content guys
Funny you should say that, it's in our list, we just didn't get to it last year!
Always killer stuff Glenn…so much information, priceless!
Thx Owen, we're always trying to bring as much as we can! Info I wish I knew sooner, hopefully it will help other as well!
Appreciate you checking it out!

Another epically helpful video gentlemen! Thanks for more ideas to get us through the winter and get us pumped for this season!
Awesome! Glad we could help! Always pumped for the next adventure!
Thx for watching!
HOT TIPS" will give it a try!!! THANX"- GO 54!!!
Thanks James, always a pleasure seeing you chime in, being a 54 OG member! Appreciate you brother!
Fantastic stuff Glenn! Got some tinkering to do with my tubes before it warms up.
Thx for much for watching! Glad you enjoyed it! The tube game is strong!!!

Your customizations are awesome! I'm definitely going to copy you. Do you suggest the 10" for most of the lakes you fish?
Thanks for watching! The 10" is the most versatile in my opinion. If you're gonna start with tubes the mid depth 10" is a great place to start.
Great stuff dude and awesome tips as always! Clearly the program works!
Yep, you got to see that first hand! Hard to argue with success. Thx for watching!

Awesome thanks guys! Definitely plan on using them this year.
Thx Ben, everyone should be adding a tube to their tackle box! Appreciate you taking the time to watch!
Mad Scientist level 100 stuff! Great video, thanks.

TWISTED TUBES " LOOKED CRAZY TWISTING LIKE A BARFIGHTER!!! IMO GOING TO HAVE TO "DUST OFF" and THROW THe 2 I HAVE! GO-54!!!!
Love the twisted tube! Such an underrated bait!
Nice rig.

Great information and video Glen, going to have some tubes with me on the boat this year. Looking forward to trying them on Eagle and my home bodies of water.
Thx Mitch, I'll bring a few to show you when we fish together next summer! But you definitely need to add a few into the mix!

Awsome info glen goin to have one in my box this year
Give them some time and you won't be disappointed! Such a versatile bait! Thx for watching!
Hey Glenn, love your breakdowns. In the tube mod video, what gauge wire are you using to add the middle treble? And what blade on the back? #6??
Wire size really doesn't matter. I tend to use 051, it's easy to work with.
Blade size depends on what you want from it, the bigger the blade the slower the drop in slack line.
Willow blades are nice or #6/#8 Colorado.
Thx for watching!
@@54orbust thanks for the reply
Thanks for the tips! What is your preferred brand and size of split rings??? I need to get some more
Wolverine, stealth Tackle and thorne bros branded all work great. I like #6 for most applications.
Now to mod this to just three hooks for the states.
Get rid of the J hook coming out of the back.

Lol that is funny! Thx for watching
Great video Glenn. Other than your sunset jailbird, do you have favorite colors?
Get a black, white and walleye based patterns and you can't go wrong! Really there is no wrong colour! We love them all! Thx for watching!
Green pumpkin and baby musky are really good too
where do i get that beautiful color
Which one are you referring too?
Thanks for watching!
That twisted tube looks like a bullhead slipping across the bottom.... I gotta give that a try!
Interesting, that's exactly why we do this, everyone sees things differently and just you saying that gives me an idea on how to use the twisted tube! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment!
@@54orbust slow roll that thing across the bottom is what Im thinking!
Fishing line shows up alot
