    I like this. I took it one step further and alternated the direction of the majors and minors. In other words, I went C-E-G-B-Bb-G-Eb-C-C#... etc. Good stuff.

    Great Exercise. I tried reversing it once I nailed the ascent and it was so mind boggling at first, but became easier and easier as I practiced it. I also practiced it with the moonwalk exercise you gave us. A lot of work for the brain XD Thanks man!

    hey Daric youre a great teacher, do you plan on doing any videos on slapping and popping, like on how to make it more groovy and funky rather than the simple root & octave?

  • @fgwinstontv5493
    @fgwinstontv5493 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hello Sir. Thank you so much for your youtube channel. I have truly learnt alot from you. Please there is amazing slap groove but you first do a fast video then you slap. I have been hearing it most times on some of you videos. Even this video right now at the begging,I hear it. Please could you teach us the licks by breaking it down for us you subscribers and the slap along please. That will help in the slap bass 🎸 journey. Thanks in advance

    Daric Bennett's Bass Lessons I’m a 15 yo kid and was wondering if you know all the major scale positions if so i was looking if could teach me it because I can’t find for the 5 string bass I play in church and play the numbers but I just stay in that one spot the piano player always tells me to learn all the major scale positions but I can’t find it for 5 string bass

    Can anyone (or Daric himself) tell me if it's a good way to practice this exercise alternating between the index and middle fingers as the starting plucking fingers? Or should I only use the index as the starting one?
    I appreciate the help.
