We visited Keswick for the first time yesterday even though we only live 27 miles away.watching these videos now as I want to get outdoors and there’s plenty to do here
Keswick is an awesome town in the Lake District very lively with a lot of nice businesses in the main center with cafes, pubs, stores and other interesting places, Lake Derwentwater is very beautiful with the most awesome scenery with some nice neighborhoods, Keswick is a very beautiful place to visit i really enjoyed it especially all of the ducks another great video and until next time take care and thank you.👋🇬🇧
Looks lovely. I've never been to that side of the Lakes. I might have to explore, I've booked to go to Windermere in September for the day, and I want to go to a shop in Ambleside. I might get the bus and have a ride to Keswick. ❤
Thanks for a trip down memory lane. I used to come to Keswick a lot back in the sixties and seventies with my mum and dad and also with friends for weekends. The last time I was here was in 1984 for three nights and its changed a lot from what I remember. .Many thanks for the tour.
A two hour drive from south Lanarkshire we love this town you should try brysons the bakers they are fantastic especially the cherry genoa cake melt in the mouth thanks again greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks for that. Went every year on holiday. The National Trust shop at the lake always sold amazing fudge. Been to that lovely cinema a few times too. What I really want to know is 'Is the Dog and Gun' still open?' Lol. Couldnt see from the video. - Frances
On lake road there is a cracking little cake and coffee shop selling all homemade cakes and sandwiches (Bellaport Bakes) - we always pop in for supplies to take to the lake when we are in Town.
@@GimbalWalkTV Thank you ! I enjoyed your Keswick walk immensely and have visited many times but never been to the area where you started the walk, next time 👍
Going on holiday with shearings in 2 weeks time, staying at Windermere, and Keswick is one of the places we will be visiting, hopefully the weather will be fine
Did you stay in the Travelodge, you should of gone along the old railway line path from Keswick to threlkeld. Castle Rigg stone circle Keswick. The mine muesem.

We used to - but these days you can't beat Bellaport Bakes for homemade cakes, and the coffee is great as well
Loved this. Derwentwater is truly awesome with the mountains, Catbells, Causey Pike, Skiddaw. Have you been to Bassenthwaite north of Keswick?
