Now we are talking, i operate these regular but never used a tilt rotator on one , tbh a dream setup. I for one can't knock the kubota aside from limited cab storage.
I run that same Engcon with my 040 and i have the gripper. I wouldn't be without it. I would think that the 60 would handle it with the gripper no problem.
Hi Olli I'd get straight off that kubota and get on that takeuchi, honestly mate I've driven diggers since I was 7 I'm 54 now we've had kubota and there horrible cramped things for me small machines have to be takeuchi you simply can't beat them ,I run a case 130 e with an engcon and trimble gps ,machine is awful engcon is awsome so is gps,I've run 3cx for many years good machine but changed it for a cat 432f years ago and the cat was fantastic, never been on a nice kubota ,volvo and takeuchi all the way mate
Have you tried one of these new Kubotas? They have come on a long way especially in the cab. They aren't my favourite machine, and I always thought the 8 tonner was way off the mark, but this KX60 drove well to me. I did have a go on Owens Takeuchi TB290, a short little video is coming soon of me on that.

Love your hands-on presentation style.

It probably would be fine. I love the grippers, they look so useful
really rate weaver plant, not many places you can get all the attachments on good quality machines, do a great range of avants and forklifts as well
I've got a 56 Kubota, it's a top machine, not got a tilt rotator though.

Get a short stick and put the gripper on, simple
That's certainly one way of doing it, you're right
