Should Books Have Gate Keepers for Quality Control?

As society evolves and people become more aware of and compassionate toward people struggling with mental illness and trauma, trigger warnings have started to pop up everywhere, including on books. Now authors need to decide if they believe in trigger warnings, when to include them, and if other options might better suit the industry.
