Good morning, I subscribed to your channel and thanks for the very interesting videos
I have created a belief that in general it is much easier to attack than to protect oneself
Any protection system will always have limited potential, weak points that these latest generation missiles will always be able to hit
This consideration inevitably leads to a situation called ESCALATION
And when a country that possesses nuclear weapons like Russia feels backed into a corner, in my opinion, it will start using tactical nuclear weapons.

It is also made to be launched from helicopters that are on other US Navy ships.
Increasing the operational distance by a lot.

No the US is buying the NSM to be used by aircraft and on their smaller literall combat ships.
The US Marines are also going to be using it if they are based on island anywhere in the Pacific to give some protection against enemy shipping.
There are also longer range missiles like precision strike missile which will be fired from the HIMARS it's going to be faster than the ATACM missile which flies at over MACH 3 and they are looking at getting the range of the missile anywhere from 1000-1600km with a seeker on it so it can engage moving targets at sea.

Speed reduces reaction time to a matter of maybe 5 seconds or even less. Mach 3 is a speed of about 3000 feet a second, Mach 5 or "hypersonic" is about 6000 feet a second. No good knowing or not knowing if the missile is there and approaching, but if you do not have the time and ability to shoot it down.
It is ALL about missiles and drones now and speed and range are the trump cards of both sides of the contest. Ships, planes and tanks etc are just trucks to get the right weapons to the right place at the right time.

Hypersonic weapons are not everything. They're more like a gimmick. The US thinks they're bullshit that's why a long time ago they went the other way when it came to missiles (slower and maneuverable/ hard to detect is better than speed) and the reason why they did that. I think, is they know that all missiles defense system are way way over hyped and will not get all of them or even 60 percent of them. Hypersonic weapons are expensive ( F-35). So what would you like 45 of these missiles or one hypersonic missile. Which one will do more damage. Also all ballistic missile are hypersonic, so the US missile defensive that are designed to shot down ballistic missile will still work (hitting them right before re-entry).

There is no evidence to show China can hit a moving target with this missile.
Also it has never sunk a single ship, even in tests.
So the idea it can kill a 5000 water tight compartment aircraft carrier is nothing more than fake news from China.
If you can provide any evidence to show they can hit a moving ship with this missile. Or any evidence showing it can disable a 300+ meter long ship.
Then I would be very interested in seeing it.... But I have a feeling you won't be able too...
Just remember, China said it had no virus.
China said they contained the virus in Wuhan.....
We all know that was a lie because the global had to go into lock down because of China's lies 😉

Speed isn’t every thing, in order to faster they have to be larger and fly higher both of which add to their radar signature making it easier to detect and intercept…

Yes they will be afraid if Taiwan has these when the Chinese try to cross the Taiwan strait with all their troop transports loaded up with men and equipment

@@Stephen-bq4nq 🤣🤣Yeah, China will totally sending troops across the strait without bombing Taiwan's missile sites and airport first.

@@easonhuang7117 Taiwan has known for decades they will face a huge bombardment before any seaborne landing they have plenty of bunkers built to hide vital equipment and they will have other equipment well camouflaged.
The Taiwanese air force won't play any major role most of them won't get off the ground but the Taiwanese anti ship missiles arn't air launched.
Go back through history it's littered with examples of huge bombardments not destroying the defences.
The bombardment doesn't' work and China tries to cross the Taiwan strait they're going to be in a world of hurt they certainly won't be laughing.

Cool system for fleet v fleet combat, but good luck blowing up 10,000 small boats going 50kph across the straight filled with 20 China men each, not to mention the tens of thousands that will be parachuting all over the island causing havoc.
Meh whatever, might as well sell as much of this crap to Taiwan before they're no longer a customer I guess is what they're thinking.

You are clearly 100% clueless about how real war works.
You talk like a 12 year old playing to many computer games.
Those 10.000 small boats of you have a fantasy about, would be shot to pieces long time before they reach any beach and not a single missile will be used to do it.
And the tens of thousands of paratroopers will not even get close to jump off their planes over land.
The Chinese are not so stupid that they will try any of your "smart" tactics.

    • @Stephen-bq4nq

The Chinese will be engaged on their own shoreline any amphibious landing will have to mass on Chinese side and will be seen well in advance of any attack.
Small boats will only be able to carry men with small arms they won't have any heavy weapons.
As for the airborne forces they will show up on radar long before they get to Taiwan and the majority of the transports will be shot down.
