I wonder if that 1 on name country would happen to be Canada. Because a Canadian military has been looking at maybe buying a surface air missile system.
I'm thinking maybe Taiwan. They're facing an overhanging threat from China, and even mentioning Taiwan is like opening a can of worms. Just a speculation tho.
then combine the system with a mobile skyranger for loiter munition protection of the systems at a low cost and use the missiles for larger targets. i wish my country would buy stuff like this, but sadly we are always ten years behind our needs.

Someone should make a NASAM format but much smaller and shorter range. Maybe 20 launch tubes and use guided 70mm rockets or something, specifically for shooting down medium and small drones. Cheap and quick response with good optical id and targeting of small shit should be the key here. Doesn't have to have 70km range, just enough to clear the sky of the eye's and grenade droppers.
@@shamusshafer8578 NASAMS integrates with C-RAM. A couple of programmable airburst rounds is more than enough to take down most drones in a relatively inexpensive way compared to most rocket systems. You also have more specialized short range systems like MANTIS using Oerlikons or the highly mobile VAMPIRE using small rockets
But what can I say to us, Romanians, made NATO donate a Patriot system to Ukraine and in a few hours it was destroyed by Russian missiles, this gives us 100% safety + 1 billion dollars thrown in the trash😵😵
