DIAS BEACH, CAPE POINT NATIONAL PARK | Hidden Gems Near Cape Town

- We think if you’ve lived in or visited Cape Town in South Africa then you have visited Cape Point. But we are not so convinced you’ve visited Dias beach!
At least we hadn’t. While scrolling Instagram we discovered a picture of an INSANE beach, and we’re shocked when we discovered that it was in Cape Town!
Having lived in South Africa for almost a year now, and being self proclaimed experts in what to do in Cape Town we felt a burning desire to investigate and see if Instagram really was inline with reality! We needed to see Dias beach for ourselves!
What. Did you think We would give it away here in the description? You’ll have to watch the vlog to find out.
But we can tell you how to get there.
It really isn’t that hard at all.
All You have to do is go into the Cape Point national park, which is about a 60 minute drive from Cape Town City.
Park at the main “Cape Point” parking lot, and there is stone a path next to the bathrooms, on the left.
Follow that path until it becomes a wooden boardwalk, after a few minutes (with insanely beautiful views) you’ll see a steep stair case that goes down to Dias Beach! There you go! Easy as that. It’s an easy walk about shouldn’t take you more that 20
Minutes to get there about maybe 30 minutes to get back (walking up the stairs)
