Thank you for reaction. 👍"Otyken" [O-tu-k`en] is one of the best Russian "modern folk" groups. Their texts are in Khakass, Chulym and Russian languages. Word "Otyken" in Chulym and other Turkic languages means - "a sacred land where warriors would lay down their arms and talk".
Azyan - vocals; Ach - keyboard, throat singing; Kunchari - igil (two string cello); Otamay - komuz (two-three string guitar); Tsveta - vargan (aka mouth harp, jaw harp), drums, komuz, vocals; Maya - drums; Hakaida - bass-drums; Aiko (Muna from this year) - bass guitar.

I agree that they are such a unique group.. sadly just as their popularity is starting to rise, they are the innocents subject to the sanctions on Russia.. making it difficult for them to benefit from their growing popularity.. their PayPal is blocked and travel is restricted.. their founder and producer financed their startup selling their locally produced organic honey, but that is subject to the sanctions. I sincerely hope for a better future for them..
