    I've seen so many videos of CO2 laser treatments for acne scars and I'm debating on whether or not to get it done when I graduate. I've finally gotten rid of most of my acne and it's left behind some scars, but the icepick scars really aren't that severe so I'm not sure

    • @pauljohnong5924
      @pauljohnong5924 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I'm no dermatologist but I did talk to them quite a bit when I had my CO2 fractional laser.
      CO2 Fractional laser Treatments are most effective for mild cases of acne scars.
      The deeper ones(such as mine lol) required multiple sessions.
      Just sharing, but of course it's best to hear from an actual dermatologist.

    • @DyLemmaOG
      @DyLemmaOG ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Acne scars are pretty much permanent, it's shitty and that's life. Can make some minor to moderate improvement but they are permanent. Look at Skrillex for example, he's extremely rich can afford any treatment as many treatments as he wants and he has openly admitted he tried everything to treat his acne scars and they didn't help. Life sucks! It's possible in the future the methods improve or there's a new method that is better than the old.

    • @Khsjsj
      @Khsjsj 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@DyLemmaOGthis is absolutely not true. Moderate acne scars can be improved by over 90%. Severe scars are harder to improve but you can get good results there too but it takes time patience and money. Moderate acne scars are definitely treatable.

    Does co2 fraxel laser damage facial hair follicles?

    • @pulselightclinic
      @pulselightclinic  ปีที่แล้ว

      CO2 lasers don't penetrate deep enough to damage the hair follicles permanently. In most cases, the hair will regrow after a temporary loss or thinning due to the treatment. If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know.
