There are ALOT of things most players are unaware of that could help them significantly in Escape From Tarkov. These are some of the BEST Tips and Tricks I have learned over the years that will make your Tarkov experience much better. Not only will we go over some mechanics people didn't think were possible or didn't fully understand, but also things that generally will save you from a life or death situation in EFT.

If your mags are the same type, you can instantly tell which one is most full by checking the weights!
Great for when you're not sure which mag to pack
Staying the whole duration of the raid has typically helped me believe it or not

The old lay in the closest bush and do chores for ten minutes at start I learned years ago in my first wipe. So much room to breathe once that initial wave of pvp is done

That last clip where you where crouch walking you died because weapon side switching makes sound for the enemys but not you, left hand switch makes zero noises but switching back to the right mames sound for other players he heard it.

Shooting dropped bodies helps too. I’ve gone prone while getting shot at from distance and the guy thought I was just dead. Do Safety checks! We aren’t bound by Geneva in Tarkov lol
On Camouflage id like to mention zeriachy (the lighthouse sniperboss) His mask ofc looks sick with the horns BUT they also obscure the human silhouette. One can barley see the guy.
To add to your directional audio tips: If you’re trying to not make noise while listening, you can freely spin around while crabwalking. This is assuming they’re not close enough to hear you/you’re unencumbered, all that stuff. Another silly tip is that you can switch your fire mode while checking your mag, not the most useful but if you need to use an ak you picked up off the ground, it can save your life.
does checking the mag make noise? and the auto switch? also how encumbered do i have to be for crab walking to make noise?
@@jeremyngo7606checking mag does make noise, I think weapon switching does, and currently crabwalking is bugged so you can be 100 kilos and it'll still make no noise. Good luck in your raids brother
Great Thanks ! My tip would be you can loot in the air. Just press your loot button while walking over the body and you jump button right after. With a little practice and fast fingers you can loot in the air :) Have fun ^^
Another good thing about tapping your light on as soon as you peek is they sometimes are expecting you to only peek with the flashlight on going forward. So the second time you peek, go no light, sometimes it gives you a second or two to catch them off guard.

bruh i've reached this point where i dont even want to play anymore until i get living high is not a crime pt 2 complete, just sittin here running moonshine scav cases every 4 hours burning out my 20 mil bank until i can run lv 5 armor every run because i'm sick of piss poor firefight trades with guys that have stockpiles of good 556 ammo and tank armor.
I believe you can craft the tactec before completing that quest, so you can pull the plate out and recycle the craft again.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to make this video! Got some pretty helpful tips like burying your head in bodies or how to properly use flashlights. I'm on my first wipe and I find I think way too much about certain things. One of them being the flashlights, so I haven't used them very often just because I wasn't quite sure how to utilize them to the fullest potential. So again, thank you for the awesome tips!

Hi TMP, could you make a guide on what to put in our secure containers? Maybe even depending on early/mid/late game and maybe map dependent (paracord)? I am often second guessing myself on what are the most efficient items to bring!

RE: Helping teammates when you die: A naked enemy when they kill you can mean 1 of 2 things: either the enemy that killed you is dead, OR they got naked into raid (because their teammates were dropping them gear or something).

On the camouflage point. Once get back from my holidays I’ll be starting to grind my lighthouse tasks. What the recommended loudout for lighthouse? Rig/armour. Never played it before so looking forward to learning it! Thanks for video man!

Packet loss for bosses on most maps although that is more known and than silent un ads is by using the blindfire keys. with high strength it is often better to just walk at the person in the fight because you can keep your gun up and move pretty much as quick as a low strength sprint so in dorms you can push the hallway with the gun up quickly. higher fov increases felt recoil. best tip of all is once your cover is blown reposition. keep shooting and then moving to keep your enemy on there toes

First one reminds me of attack on titan, when those titans run and one has his head snapped all the way back.
I think Setting Check firemode and Change firemode on the same key can (not sure tho) make the Change firemode action silent.
I set Check firemode on press and Change firemode on hold.
please make a point shooting guide and also is arena up to date with escape?
do you use the takedown because of the weird silhouette? im a fan of it too but honestly might have to switch from the tan to the black i feel like the tan stands out a lot
I use camouflage in every single raid and I don’t know if I’m the only one but when I hear someone around me a sneak into a bush or a dark corner that I can blend in until I get an angle on them or get enough information to push. (by push I mean sneak crouch over to them and get free gear) Yeah I know I’m a rat it’s my whole thing but it works 90% of the time.
What clothing do you recommend? I use some of the green clothing but when looking at char you have a bright light above you in the menu so doesnt look same in raid.
I agree man, dressing as a scav as well is just camouflage.

For bear grizzly top and uron pants. Solid black ninja outfit can get early as level 18 @@Chevalier_knight
IDK for Usec but for BEAR get a summerfield pants and shirt (they kinda expensive but worth) best for outside, green maps, bushes, trees but for Interchange or dark maps just choose Grizzly and URON pants@@Chevalier_knight
1.2 kd, here are my tips. Holding breath only works while standing still. If you hold the key and move, it breaks the action despite holding the key. For those of you that have hold breath macro’d to ADS, any slight movement breaks it and requires you to ADS again. To prevent this, either come to a complete stop before ADS or quickly re-ADS after you position yourself in a favorable spot. This is why ergonomics is the most important stat and why your recoil sucks.
Im struggling with gear, I don't have gear fear. I can get good raids with decent/low tier gear. But I still endup being broke. I guess this isn't even a question, but shouldn't I run bad gear for as long as I can to avoid spending rubles for gear instead of as example needed hideout upgrades etc? Ive had wipes where I do good with anything I have but especially recently Ive died most of the times when I wear anything good. I die very often with friends but when I solo I get high kill and good loot raids. Anything you guys could tell me that could help?
Rogues and scavs (not sure about bosses/guards) will aggro-voiceline you if you voiceline near them. This can be useful to gain knowledge of where they are without using a grenade and letting the whole lobby know where you are
Can you do new updated armor tier list?
I think a bullet point list at the end of the video to help me handle the info I have adhd I gotta watch this like 20 times

How would you feel is circle strafing was removed from the game?
would probably be the way BSG wants to take the game. most players that played before inertia would be sad. game would feel insanely sluggish imo and gunfights would be even more campier

opening and closing doors is good. a giveaway that someone is doing this where you are is when the loot is touched. lets me know to be extra careful and gives me that upper hand
The issue with that is with this patch iv been noticing alot more empty draws and boxes in unlooted rooms ie just spawned or locked rooms.

My tips are as follow.
Stay out of high loot areas
Rat a bush for the first 20 minutes of raid
Dont ever bring good gear, that 7.62 vpo is something no esper will take
Avoid labs
Dont move
Helmets only matter if someone aims for the head, they always aim for the face
Dont bring ammo, it wont pen the average lvl 56 which are the only players right now
Report every death regardless if it "seems" fair play
Avoid lighthouse rogues, player scavs will run up on you and half have aim bots and will pen your armor with hollow points for some reason.
Dont bother with sniping, espers will get you first
If you think youre in a high trafic area, you are and rxpect to die in the next 5 minutes.
Avoid the following maps, shoreline, reserve, customs, lighthouse, factory, streets
Dont even bother with task youre not going to get kappa regardless of your hours
Did i say never bring good gear?
Using these tips your survive rate should go up 5% and accept lvl 25 is as high as youll get

I have never had my fps counter on until today, turns out I die, because my laptop only gets 10-20 fps. I didn't even realize because it has been like that for 3 years now. All my tower PCs died on me without oc
turning fps counter also deters your fps gain and increase. i recommend leaving it off and just getting a better rig
@@he4rts yup I will build pc next week im lv 30 now in eft and I could use razor or vudu but why when I have 20fps in scope... at least I can play woods with 60 fps
@@he4rtsFPS counters (especially fps 1 - the basic one) are very cheap instrumenting code and should have virtually no discernible impact on FPS at all. If it does cause a noticeable impact, it's either a) unrelated to the FPS counter b) A poorly implemented FPS counter
