Hello again! This one was requested a few weeks ago. It's a pretty basic tune, but each time he plays the head he's adding variation. Some of the chords are very awkward to play... I'm looking at you full "bar chords" in drop D. I have seen these in other tunes but it wasn't clear if it was played fully and I usually omitted one of the low notes. But this time it's very clear that it's played that way. By chance I'm very comfortable 'rolling' my fingers but if it's too tough you can omit the note on the 5th or 4th string and it will sound the same cheers!
Johnny Smith was a supreme arranger and one of the finest jazz guitarists to ever walk the earth. Thank you for the amazing transcription. The low E string is tuned to a D, is that correct?
Great sharing, enjoyed your nice video!! Have a great week!
