Started golfing a little less than a year ago, I live in the peninsula but played Harding a lot recently. Still haven’t tried presidio, but will definitely visit soon.
My last assignment in the military had me stationed in the Bay Area nearly 30 years ago. The Presidio was still an active Army base and the golf course was part of the military recreation system. I played this course nearly every other weekend. I would alternate between playing the Presidio and driving down to Fort Ord to play the Bayonet and Blackhorse courses. I have fond memories of this course. But, I seem to remember the nines being reversed from how you played them, but I could be wrong. The greatest thing is how inexpensive it was to play if you were active military. I think I paid no more than $12 or something like that. What a bargain. I’d love to play the course again just for nostalgia. I doubt I could get that same green fee though…
Sea air, eucalyptus trees, bent grass greens all are familiar to south coast golf in Oz. Punishing rough and Tiger/ Brown/ black snakes are things you don't have to deal with though.
Played (and vlogged) here several times. The greens are actually a mix of poa and bent grass. They just started incorporating the bent grass within the last 6 months or so. Makes them a bit slicker.
Great to see you playing courses I know, even though I haven't played Presidio in many years. #18 was the scene of my first ever eagle (Driver, 3 wood, 80 foot putt from the back fringe). Hope it's been a fun trip - October golf in SF is definitely better than summer.
Rarely do I comment but this is awesome I really enjoyed it love the pace and the graphics and I’ve always wondered what that course plays like. I grew up golfing every day from sunrise to sunset back when the family country club membership had me spoiled. As a resident I can play 18 with a cart for 92 bucks. Not bad- it motivates me to close one small add-on deal daily- 250 commission BAM two days of golf!
Great round as always. The approach on the par 3 13th is much less awkward ever since they removed the tree on the left hand side, but still a challenging hole
Course looks nice and I can imagine that getting used to the greens might take a bit!! I am sure if you played it again you would shoot better!! Looking forward to all the California content!!

Some other courses in the area you could play are half moon bay, sharp park, and crystal springs
Looks awesome Adam.... can't wait for the PB video.... there's a video right?
I knew you were going to birdie 18 for some reason... just how golf works! Lol excited for more Cali videos!

I'm glad you struggled because makes me feel better about struggling at Presidio all the time!
Looking forward to see more videos from your US tour!
Awesome video! Played this course many times when I used to live nearby, it’s a gem. And definitely a challenge!
brutal day on the green ... kudos for filming every shot !
Holy heck. My favorite golf channel winds up going to my home course! Great video

Excellent video as always
Adam’s favorite approach number is 80, 90 and 100 yards.
Rewatching the SF vids because they’re awesome Adam…hope the new stuff isn’t far away and you’re doing well! Take care man

A course pretty enough for a PGA broadcast
Great video. Looks like those greens were playing quick.
Awesome looking course. Nice 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
This course is stunning

Cool video! How do you make your VFX?
6:17 so satisfying how the ball sits perfectly in the corner of the screen
Man I saw your update about it the other day and it would’ve been awesome to get a round in but the work schedule continues to conflict!
Looks kind of like playing the front 9 at Northlands, twice!
Ahh yes, the golfing gods do give you something to make you come back for the next round.
I can't picture a more beautiful place to lose 11 balls, shoot 158 and take a nice stroll along the way 😅🤷♂️
I played here and wow. It was absolutely amazing experience
👍. Thanks for not editing your golf shot and video. Thats how i play in a good day.
Will you be around LA at all? I’m down to play!
Adam, what do you think about playing to a number past the hole in the heavier Fall air?
Quick question, what is the shot tracer app you are using?
Hey, Ismar! I use Shot Tracer Pro on Mac OS.
im comigo from Brazil to SF, do you know the price for rent golf clubs? cheers
1911 hat is from where?
Played here the other day, the greens are slooooowwww.
