    Im not a barber so I never realized how important zero gapping is until i got the babyliss lopro set. I cut my own hair/do my shapeups and been using the Wahl Detailers for the last 10 years. Out the box those are sharp and hit. I tried to use the babyliss straight out the box and was pulling hair like a mfer. Found this video and zero gapped it.... what a difference!!! They definitely hit now

      @@Seancutshair I have the gold fx. But I think I still need more time with it. The andis corded t outliner for me gives sharp lines. I bought the babyliss because everyone on TH-cam said they're hitters. But maybe its just me and not being used to this new trimmer, I can't get it to hit like the andis. Cutting my hair this weekend. So I'll give it a go

      Reset them again. It just happens sometimes. Adjust it again and it can fix the problem

    • @Seancutshair

      It will definitely shave it down, but won’t be as short as a shaver or razor.

    • @Seancutshair
      @Seancutshair  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you tried it with the blade off the trimmer? If not try that. It’s hard with that small screwdriver. Could take a short stubby bit (like the ones for interchangeable screwdrivers) that fits the screws, then put it in a socket so you get more torque.
