He chooses his words and opportunities carefully. That line you just referenced was one of them, I’ll give you one other example that we all saw but most people I believe missed the significance of in the moment. When the fight was called and Conor tapped, Khabib held that crank a couple more seconds just as hard. I don’t think that was just revenge or rage that caused him to do so. It’s my opinion that he was making a statement to Conor and Conor alone. If this was a fight to the death, no rules, no ref, no audience, I could do whatever I want to you, I could kill you, you are not a warrior, you are a coward with a mouth compared to me.
I might be wrong about that, but I don’t think I am.

He's a good guy no doubt about it. But he is nowhere near the level of Muhammad ali. Muhammad Ali was a giant. He was bigger than boxing. Bigger than a celebrity. He was a hero. He took a moral stand when he was a champion and had to relinquish his title and go to jail cuz he refused to fight in Vietnam War. He gave Africans all over the world something to be proud of. Khabib never had to do any of that. And he never will. Also Muhammad Ali was a convert. That just makes his status even more exalted.
