Literally so many kids have asked me to do that and I cringe every time😭 I immediately get up and wash my hands while I teach bc I’m so grossed out and they’re all “why do you wash your hands?”
Yep ALWAYS. .. have a supply on hand!!!!…wet …shoe strings, pants, snotty noses, throw up, accidents in pants, bloody noses, fingers, stepped in poop, gum,….. you name it.. its a possibility when you’re a teacher!!!!!❤❤❤
Off topic I really like your videos you’ve become my comfort channel I wish all teachers could be like you.I wish you worked at my school. When I’m sad your videos make me smile and cheer me up!
I just do it and then wash my hands with soap for about ten minutes. Same way I hold kids' backs and hold their hair when they're puking on my shoes. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
See how she put on gloves to protect herself ? Food servers wearing gloves doesn't protect you, food servers performing proper hand washing protects you.
Yup. Switching gloves to prevent cross contamination... It drives me crazy. I'd rather someone not wear gloves and thoroughly wash their hands at the proper times then think they are fine because they have gloves on. I worked int he industry and my hands would get so badly cracked by the end of winter(not good for sanitation either!! 😮💨) until I found that O'Keefe's hand cream!!
OMG! At first glance I thought you were gonna to tell me that: “wet shoe laces” is some new trend and everyone’s doing it! 😂😂Very relieved to know it’s definitely NOT a thing! 😅
Fun cousin to 3 of my cousins kids & the way I have stocked my husband & I’s cars with napkins, wet wipes, & sanitizer! Why has my munchie bag gone to a kid snack bag 🤦🏾♀️
When I was a nanny for a kid with a g tube and an unknown substance gets on my hand in the dark of the bedroom while I pick baby up. Is it: pee, poop, formula, or discharge from the port? We’ll find out after he’s changed! My hands were never so clean as when I worked that job. Not only did I want to keep myself clean and safe, but I certainly didn’t want to introduce him to anything dirty!
I don't know why, but this just reminded me of when one of my students in China randomly leaned forward in the middle of the class and just vomited all over the floor! Kid's, man! 😂
PPE!!! Personal Protective Equipment!!! Too funny that you're trying to pawn a wet shoelace off on a kid... 😂😂😂 And yes, I realize it's a skit... You must draw inspiration from real-life situations, though... More importantly, I hope that a first grader or at least one out of an entire class of gifted children really do know how to tie a shoe!!! 👟👟👟
When he went to the bathroom he peed on it and he said he didn't know so he can get out of it and say he didn't do it so he want to be embarrassed by everybody
Does no one teach their kids how to tie their shoes? My daughter showed interest at 4 years old she I ran out and bought her tie shoes.. she just turned 5 is a pro.
LMAO. I was thinking " break out the disposable gloves"! ❤😂❤😂❤
Me too 🧤🧤
Better double knot that biohazard sneaker string ms chang 😂

I’m not even a teacher, and I KNOW that’s the truth…

Well said!
First grade teacher here! That is why I RARELY tie shoes! I tell them after Christmas, they’re on their own.
That’s dedication✌🏽
THE GLOVES so real. I’m a custodian for 5 years now. Gloves are essential
I love that you tried to pass it off to the students first 🤣
Such a sweet teacher ❤

You are not kidding. When I clean the boys restroom my feet stick to the floor
After touching the lace comes the gloves..😂 bit too late for that. Too funny
At least both hands won't have it this way! 😉
She’s prepared
Nope. I teach kinder. I taught them how to roll the laces and tuck them inside their shoe.
Another great use for brown paper towel 🧻

@@RealBradMiller dirty hands equal dirty gloves. It's been scientifically proven
I explained to the first graders why I don't like tying shoes and the disgust on their faces was priceless. 😂
❤❤❤ We do watch we have to ❤❤❤
No joke!

I tell my kids I am allergic to tying shoes. I tell them my partner ties them for me every morning 😂
😂 too funny
Absolutely yes 😂
Me working with Pre-K 😂😂😂
Oh God, I never thought about how filthy kids' laces are... I've tied shows for pre schoolers quite a few times D:
Truth
I hate tying my own wet laces even when I know it's just water!
Fun cousin to 3 of my cousins kids & the way I have stocked my husband & I’s cars with napkins, wet wipes, & sanitizer! Why has my munchie bag gone to a kid snack bag 🤦🏾♀️
She was going to have another kid tie the pee laces! Hahaha
They go to tie their shoes at home and ask for a pair of gloves😂😂😂
I never tied shoes! Never!

I never wear laceups to school so I can say "sorry find someone who knows how to do it!" Or I pretend I can't pinch my fingers together lol
My cousin teaches elementary school and she tells them to tuck shoelaces in shoes. No touching those wet things.
I don't know why, but this just reminded me of when one of my students in China randomly leaned forward in the middle of the class and just vomited all over the floor!
Kid's, man! 😂
Bro the title was trying to be a reference to Kamala Harris when she say out in the streets😂😂😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, the disposable gloves were always in the top side drawer of my desk….😅
Poor kid
One time on lunch duty, I had a kindergartener ask to me open their yogurt tube that they had just tried to open with their teeth.
💙❤️

When he went to the bathroom he peed on it and he said he didn't know so he can get out of it and say he didn't do it so he want to be embarrassed by everybody

The reason his shoe strings wet because he probably is chewing on it 🤒😭
Yep.
Daily 😂
And second grade...
Second graders are little germ factories! Especially when they pee on themselves 😂
And that's why I don't tie shoes 😅
