It's hard to get crushed by a song in one time listening. This is the performance i met with The Killers. I was shocked at that summer day by listening this. Immediately tried to find out which band was that. Its been 18 years ive been listening them. And last day i was able to attend to their concert for the first time. Got so emptional now. Thank you good boys of Vegas. U made my life more happier.
Yes mate it lifts me up to keep going even tho I have bad illness which makes me so depressed 😢 thanks for music to keep us pressing on and the line " when you can't hold on, when you can't hold on, Hold on " hits hard 😒
Maybe this was our Woodstock. I was probably 14 or 15. And traveling around old records and music. The killers proved to be a new band with great style and music. This was a great day for music and poverty awarenes. U2 my fav band opened up with paul ...wow great memories. One of the few days I'll like to go back and live it again.
I hear Brandon's marvellous "COME ON!" at 1:25 every single time I listen to the track on the album and have done since I was 14. Thanks for uploading!
Wow, I wasn't a fan back then. The US was a bit slow to play them, but once Sam's town came out, I've have seen them countless times. This performance gave me the chillsm WOW.
Hot Fuss has only come out the previous summer. No one knew it would be one of the best albums of the decade. I remember going to the virgin megastore in Union square and buying the CD with the bonus tracks. Not a single skip on it. The following albums never measured up but Hot Fuss is a masterpiece. I’m so glad they did this performance.
I love that singer since I was 15 years old, and now I'm 29 years old... thanks for this song because I was inspired to make a cowboy cosplay for my first child for the children's day celebration that took place a few days ago. ...
I was 38 when this song came out and the only other song that I’d heard from them was Somebody Told Me. My daughter’s friend from California where we had moved from, asked her about the band and if she’d ever seen them. Of course my daughter wasn’t into music then, not anything good that is and I’d stopped listening to new music all together at the time because there was way too much crummy junk being played on the radio. Anyhow we’d been living in Las Vegas for some years and all I did was work and spend time with my wife and daughter on the weekends watching movies or going shopping. Yup that was us, just another suburbanite family. I remember listening to this on the radio one night and the DJ announcing the song for the first time. Something new from the Killers, and then he played All These Things That I’ve Done. What a shame I’ve never seen them live. What a Kool band from the early 2000’s. 😎
Awesome awesome song. I share a tiny tiny bit of its reflected glory by playing it in a covers band. So good singing this with a pub full of people having fun.
I was first introduced to this song by a cover band at an Irish pub on Chapel Street, Prahran, a suburb of Melbourne. Was that performance that made me a Killers fan. Unfortunately that's the only live performance of the song I've seen. For one reason or another I've not been able to go to any Australian concert of theirs. Everything else will be put on hold next time though.
I often thing about my past addiction and all the things ive done and about my brother and all my friends who all overdosed i miss them so bad but i always hold on for them i try my best to do what my brother would want ik they are still around me but these changes have changed me i hate to admit it but often i need help and i bring myself down .
What a legendary performance early in their career! Their debut album Hot Fuss was released in 2004, just the previous year. This Live 8 concert had four of my favorite bands performing including the Killers, Muse, Linkin Park, and Coldplay. I thought the Killers had the best song and performance, compared to the other seasoned groups.
I love the Brandon’s . Brandon Boyd (Incubus) and Brandon Flowers ( The Killers) They can both sing and are good live. They are both underrated because Freddie Mercury, Steve Peru and Chris Cornell and Layne Staley get all the praise (All the previous are phenomenal and deserve praise it’s just the Brandon’s don’t always get recognized
P mim o maiorrr, u2, pink floyd formaçao original, Rem, Sting, Madona, Bob Gedoff,. Paul Macartney, Robbing Willians....por isso amo Londres ....estive lah nesse dia, c 18 anos !!!

Back when the UK was open, welcoming and celebrated people from other countries, instead of vilifying them. Only 16 years ago, but actually, a lifetime ago.
"I've got soul But I'm not a soldier" 18th February 2019 Still, today, a child will continue to die every 10 minutes in Yemen .. What have we done? What will we do?
As far as Africa, drill some damn wells and give them some seeds, not gmo. Give them some pumps and irrigation equipment, some goats, some chickens, no need for any people to starve.
Always remember the KILLERS remember Brandon said we’re proud to be here at a time we few nations loved US the following Wednesday we got the olympics and on Thursday morning we got 7 /7 And were still here 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧♥️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🌹☘️🥂🙏🏻
Don't get me wrong, The Killers are a one of a kind band but they perform the song way too fast now. I really wish they'd perform it at this speed again 😩
One of the most epic songs ever written. It never fails to lift me up from my depths.

Yeah, i agree but somehow the video does not do it justice
How does this not have more views? This was the best performance of the event and they were given time for one song
This song is a cure for all sorrows.

Right!

I'm rocking but could cry 😂
Honorary British band the Killers. From Las Vegas but became super famous because of the love in the UK and a British record label.

seriously? this is the ONLY song they sang? jinkies!
And for 1 man. And a good cause.
I dp believe "I got soul, but I'm not a soldier" has had more impact in my life than most any other statement.
What do you think it means?
Apresentação impecavel. O backing vocal da ultima virada é de arrepia a alma.
I'm here in 2024! Love them!
Fantastic song from a fantastic band, the killers are huge in my country Ireland 🇮🇪
I was there all day and they only played this one track!!
I heard that their set was cut short because the event was running behind time, but what a perfect song to play.😍
It’s great , I hope I can watch this even again
