- Sunday 10th July 2005 - The Killers performing All These Things That I've Done live on Main Stage at the Oxegen Festival in Punchestown Racecourse, Ireland. It turned out to be one of their most pivotal performances of their Hot Fuss tour after they played the New Bands Stage in 2004

And not a fucking phone in sight. God I miss concerts where people actually turned up to watch the band and not feel the need to record everything.
When going to a concert was about feeling the music and not filming it to post on social media.
So true! I'm with you, just appreciate the music. We should open a bar for our age group and people that that appreciate music. No phones or cameras allowed.
When the world can have festivals the size of this again, The Killers should headline the first one and broadcast it globally so the world knows how good a concert experience should be.
Yes absolutely we need something like this for all sane people around the globe🤙⭐❤️
Sad to watch concerts. We didn't know how good we had it.
We can have them whenever we want.
"War" is over when you want it.
Definately
I was there cant remember to much tho 😅
This song will make you happy even if you've had the shittiest day. Love the killers
I concur!!!!
same! Through out middle school and high school if I had a bad day, I'd pop on Hot Fuss or Sam's Town (especially Read My Mind), or maybe Sawdust and I'd be 1000x better
@@esthershih5575 hell yeah! That's awesome :)
Indeed! One of their best. Incredible.
2020 this song still feels brand new
Noah Grogg ye 2020 March
i was sitting here thinking the same thing, timeless classics already
No it doesn't. It's really good.
Classic anthem ,crowd puller ,rock your socks of .Think the last 10 years of music has been shockingly shit .Glad I got to see it in the 90s and early zeros .
Classics will always be classics.
Oxegen 2005 was the most epic festival. The weather was incredible. Unusually hit for an Irish summer with no rain. Remember being at the front for the Killers. So many great bands. Incredible. Would love to time travel back!
Megadeth Anthrax Slayer Alice in Chain's "Class of the Titans" i miss the 80's. Didn't know how good we had it.
Was just reminiscing about it and found this video. Unbelievable weekend and sensational weather. Mental it was 17 years ago
Absolutely brilliant weekend that was
Same, absolutely incredible x
Oxegen 2011 was the best festival I've ever been to. Don't believe there's ever been a better lineup at an Irish festival in the years since.
That's the kinda crowd that, as a musician, you just have to stand back and watch for a minute. Incredible.
As if you’d know
Gives me the chills EVERY TIME. Would give anything in the world to experience something like this.
it always gives me goosebumps too I just need to go to the Killers
I was in that crowd...it was incredible.
ME TOO MAN
I went last year and it was the best night of my life
U could have had our spare ticket ... waste vest weekend ever.... xxx
It's amazing that this was only 2 years after The Killers first hit single aired on the radio. Yet the crowd is absolutely massive.
The Saturday afternoon of Oxegen back in the day.
Your local busker would probably have got the same welcome.
I'll never be 19 again, but the music always will be. Take me home 2005.
"I'm so much older than I can take" is a lyric that hits really hard
A-Fucking-men
Arghh I'm so old 😄😄😄
Exactly, the closest thing we can come to a time machine is the music and the movies, tv shows. that gave us great times and memories!!!!!!!
I'm 20 years old back when I first started listening to this masterpiece... A very best year... So many bands provided a very good songs those year's.
I'm no good at judging the size of crowds Ted, but I'd say there's about seventeen million of them out there
i know right? chuck
That was Oxegen for you, amazing festival.
Yeah Oasis would play to those kind of crowds but instead they were just gigs ya know not a festival
WAY OFF PAL!! who taught you to count? ...nowhere NEAR 17 million... maybe 14 people in TOTAL at most minus the fella sellin water in the back and if ya include him your lookin at an audience of sayyy ohhh...14 plus water guy...yeah...17 million ..my bad.
They look like beans on toast
Good Lord, nobody throws a party like the Irish..
💚🔥🤘😎
It's a concert FFS
chmick50 we do 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌹✝️♥️👍🙏🏻
Skellieonabench the Irish and Scott’s and the best party countries for partying
Argentina, by far. Not even close.
The crowds got rhythm, and they’re singing in tune, legend
Thats the irish for ya, great musicians
Of course. They’re Irish 😉🇮🇪
gotta love the Irish! 🇮🇪
I'm 61 now and missed The Killers back in the day. Too busy with life back then Love The Killers now. Better late then never.
Ditto rediscovered at 59 love them seen them twice live since incredible
They were at mohegan sun just last month
Me too!!
Same as you Mark
I saw them in Brisbane Qld a few years ago il never forget it brilliant concert
This is a man who can sound good even when tired and breatheless
that rlly butters my egg roll He is amazing. A marvel for sure
At the age of 59 I have just discovered the killers, I blast them around the house, I’m now an embarrassing mum to 20 year old kids, tried all my adult life to embarrass them, finally achieved it.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you failed big time. A parent listening to The Killers is a badge of honor, not an embarassment. They'll come to understand you in time and when they share their stories with the band, they'll mention the role you played in it. Keep on blasting them
@@V1489Cygni your so right, never looked at it like that. Have you watched them singing live at the Oxygen concert here in Ireland. Not a iPhone in site. We Irish know how to celebrate with the best. Keep safe and well.
@@V1489Cygni Exactly...Her kids secretly love listening b/c The Killers are amazing
I missed the Killers back then..too busy with a young growing family. I'm 61 now and love The Killers.Better late then never.
Perhaps it takes us to raise kids and once that’s done we finally get to be our young selves again, enjoying music as loud as we like and signing along because now we are the parents, they don’t like it they can move out, oh to feel young again Whoop Whoop.
cant believe this is more than 10 years old
Yes sir, we getting older lol
I know. I was 23. Now I'm 33? PHUCK. There's nothing more disturbing than realizing there's people in their 20s, and they're 10 years younger n me.
I remember watching this video over and over while slacking off studying for my highschool exams. Now I'm watching this over and over slacking off studying for my college exams :
fuck... 10 years. wow. where has my youth gone? I think I was 17 or 18 at this 😓
18 tenia ahora tengo 28
Not a mobile (cell) phone in sight. Ahhhh, 2005, good times. To be 17 again.
There was no cell phones in 2005 you idiot
@@tomaspereira5472 There were absolutely cell phones in 2005. Nokias and Blackberrys were very popular. Nokia and Sony had more popular phones with cameras in them by 2005, then Samsung camera phones became popular then the iPhone launched in 2007. www.uswitch.com/mobiles/guides/history-of-mobile-phones/
It's amazing this song was on their first album. After 20 years, this song is still my favorite!
“I got soul, but I’m not a soldier”, one of the greatest lyrics of all time...!
"I've got ham but I'm not a hamster"
You need to listen to more music bud
What do you guys think that means?? Any interpretations?? This might be my first tattoo
I've got toast... but I'm not a toaster
He’s got passion for something but he’s not willing to put work and effort like a soldier.
One of the most iconic Oxegen performances of all time and i was lucky enough to be somewhere in the middle there. What a day.
Who all played? Imagine there were quite a few. Bands ?
curious . do you know the size of the crowd. amazing
Festival days no one remembers anything...
Hold
My beer
Ive seen my god it was brilliant
This man has been my idol since his first album
5 concerts later to the killers and 1 to Brandon solo and I can't wait to see them again!!! Such positive good energy :)
You can thank Liam Gallagher for him wanting to be in a band and the Crystal video fron New Order for the Killers name:) ...and of course my town Vegas baby!
How many people do you need?
Killers - WE WANT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WE CAN GET
It seems almost a tradition for every Irish person to claim they were at U2's first show and of course it's not true. However, I think every Irish person can, in fact, claim they were at Oxygen 2005.
I have to say that I don't often like live versions of songs, but in my opinion, this live version is better than the studio version. 'nuff said
What do mean my friend live versions are normally better
@@davidbattaglene6873 it depends on the recording quality, often recording quality is not that good
@@rogerwatermelon5580 look at the great jeff buckley live was always better
Nuff said is right .
with the fucking BASS turned up..best version I've seen bar (buuurp) None!!
why are theyclapping they should have their phones out emotionlessly standing there recording this masterpiece
Every time I'm at a concert nowadays I'm amazed that phones are still allowed at concerts..It was so much better back in 00s
Who gives a fuck if they have their phone out or not why let it bother you?,enjoy the gig or dont go if it annoys you that much
Matthew Hogg well said Matthew 🌹☘️👍🥂🙏🏻
matthew franklin nice complement Matthew
Matthew Higgins cheers 🥂👍
The thing that gives me chills is seeing the guitarist just sit and look at the crowd chant.
The one and only time I've heard the live version being performed as good as the recorded one. Wow.
Sally, by the early '70's if a band didn't perform as well Live, as they did on Album they simply lost fans. It was the rise of live music that Purists demanded after the late 60's.
Saw a few back in the day. Queen & Talking Heads are at the top of my list.
Back then when people were more into clapping and less into recording. Loved it.
so true
They watch the gig through the screen rather than watch the stage
Bai, if they had the ability to do so they would.
Miguel A. MartÍnez kinda hard to record with a brick
Two years before the evil I phone 📲
I will always have a connection to this song. I remember being 15 and sitting on a friends couch in Memphis after evacuating from New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina. This song was playing as I watched my home town and life as I know it be destroyed in real time... I still get emotional ever time I hear the intro. "When there is no where else to run, is there room for one more son, one more son. If you can't hold on, if you can't hold on, hold on."
My house was destroyed in Katrina too 😢 have you returned to the city ?
I ended up as a volunteer in New Orleans after Katrina. That experienced changed my life for the better. I lived there for 13 years after Katrina and it was the place I first heard this song. I definitely think of the big easy when I hear it
October 2020. Seeing this crowd makes me want to have hope that we can get back to this some day. Crowd surfing on a sea of people to beautiful music. We got this everybody, stay safe 👍
Wow - MTV actually broadcasting music?! I thought I'd stumbled back to 1981 for a moment, not 2005 ;)
2019 still love the killers
Bad ass....
2020 I'm here still watching this brilliant band
Sure do...timeless
2021
Seen them twice. Once In Denver,The second In Albuquerque...And I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this the best live band Ive ever seen.......Period...
What about pearl jam Jeff Buckley oh so many other great band's and artists
Yes @a brilliant voice xx
The best live band ever is the who
I really need to go to a concert or music festival out side of the US. it seems like music is WAY more appreciated at concerts than they are here in America. Great video, I would have loved to have been there. Crowd looks amazing
Joshua have u done it yet?
Yeah , well?
What nonsense they are not better than they've ever been gives away from their workers androids tomorrowland originally mad men officers who knew it all
And scary! There are hella amounts of people out there! Thats nuts!
Not the size of the crowd that counts.
One of the best song ever...what an anthem.
I was in that crowd. Was an incredible gig, prob one of the best ever. Middle of the day, sun shinning. Could have been a headline act. Incredible!
i was standing up the front at this gig the killers blew the place away nothing like an irish crowd for a party great memories thanks for the reminder
great comment :)

Those were the days. No fucking Covid, no social distancing, no riots, just thousands of people having fun.
Shivers, every time. When you see the crowd from the band's perspective that must be some adrenaline rush.
When the drummer and the singer compete . Last seen in Queen .
Got chillsssss! Heard this back in 2005 and still love it.
This just became my favorite live video. EVER. PHUCK. And the ginormous audience? WHOO!
Snow patrol oxygen 2009
I wish I could have been there😳 to see these guys ROCK OUT!!! This is one of my fav songs from this AMAZING band 😎
JOKERSLADY713 can i know you
I love the bass riff at 1:36 just answering back the lyrics - I wanna stand up [dun der dun] I wanna let go [dun der dun] - this really makes the song, it's almost imperceptible but it keeps the song going, then there's the hanging bit from 2:58 where the crowd clap and there's the guitar but no bass, it creates tension and the bass subtly comes back in then 4:00 it comes back in heavy and everyone let's go about 4:15. Great stuff!!
I was there. To the right of the big screen just in front of it. Unreal weekend. Foo fighters headlined Sunday night. They were better. Will never forget it. Then I went oxygen 4 yrs in a row after that. 🤟
What a day that was. Crippled myself at qotsa the day before hobbled to Audioslave just before this and saw James Brown from the side of the stage in the tent that night....amazing weekend.
Back when bands sounded at least as good live as they did on their production.
Back when it actually took talent to become famous...
Nostalgia is a hell of a drug if you think things were any better back then.
Jesus Christ why does every single person always have yo comment this on every fucking video.
Music is not a talent show, it’s not fucking American idol.
It’s not about “talent” it’s about making music that speaks to you
You really don’t think Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, post Malone, whoever else people listen to now, you don’t think they have ANY talent?
Back when... lol u ever heard of the Backstreet Boys? They were famous before the killers.
this is the song to end all songs no encore goodnight .. perfect cadences
Holding on in the fucking pandemic man .. this maker is better 🇮🇪🏴
There ain’t too many bands that can get THAT many people going batshit at once. Greatest live song ever made.
Pearl jam can yes but I love these guys
One helluva band
Gary Numan crossed with Bruce Springsteen - Brandon is exceptional - talk about standing room only
this song is fucking great
wow, now 2019 and in this video theres no one holding their phone for recording..lol
amazing back then.. :)
Awesome song
Probably because it was 15 years ago and 2 years before even the first iPhone came out.
Phone cameras were awful.
This is what it feels like exactly to be from a big family. ❤️ the Killers, my Mom and Dad and all fifteen of my Irish brothers and sisters, really, no lie!
Yes he can sing anything choir boy voice love Brandon @ the whole band The Killers❤
Brandon’s lyrics are fucking profound from the earliest days right up to Pressure Machine .
November of 2012, at age 52, I've landed on The Killers. I've obviously been under a rock for the past seven years, and look forward to catching up on all their music.
Watching this for the Killers, but also watching to see crowd sizes we probably will never see again at concerts.
15 fucking years had past but this song forever fresh in my soul
I got ham but I'm not a hamster
I don't think I've ever wanted to be in a crowd more than this one.
This song to me is about battling for your happiness... Thank you killers!!!!!
Honestly love this, and it was good. But for 2022, they’ve refined it. And that’s the difference in showmanship of a good and great band. A great band can improve on even this
In praise of guyliner. Brandon the best proponent
I was there, singing at the top of my lungs with my friends, with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes because in that moment in time we were altogether, and beyond happy, along with 60,000 others that felt the same way. Absolutely the purest of joy! I’ll never forget it ❤ The time of my life
when that drum kicked in , I started nailing the drums too.
well it was a plate of spaghetti
patrick Clark lol I’ve the played the spaghetti plate drums before, what a mess 🤦♂️
@@andrewwalsh6401 lol bang a gong my friend bang that gong haha
But was it Mom's Spaghetti?
and not a phone in sight! wish it was like this again
I'm with you, I want the world before cell phones.
now thats a performance great crowd
''Have a wonderful day'' As if he didn't just give everyone memories for life. What a humble legend.
It's his job mate
My FAVORITE song of theirs!! 😆😗
I do miss concerts already..
Fuck coronashit
See you soon
From Poland 🇵🇱
With Love ❤️
Jess.
This is better than the studios version.
The crowd is ecstatic. The drummer is having fun.
And EVERY other member of the band looked totally %ucked off and like they can't WAIT to leave. Not even a slight smile amongst the lot.
I love this video for a number of reasons, but I always especially like that a crowd can have no idea of what the performers are feeling, and the performers don't give a crap about what the crowd reaction is.
Was there that day... Magic... The crowd... The energy... The weather for Ireland was pretty good too 🇮🇪😂
Does anyone see where the ocean of people ends? Cuz I don't smh...
Forgot how good the killers where . 🙏
if you can’t hold on ..... hold on 💟
The killers are fkn amazing.
I didn't know that MTV actually played music! Surprise, surprise.
Watch snow patrol oxygen. 2009

Imagine having to fight through that crowd to take a shit only to find 400 shitters ahead of you. Fuck that!
Wow, some gig. The Killers are huge in Ireland, fantastic crowd.
Can't believe this is 14 years old. Dam.
Still crushing it Killers.
They’re isn’t enough Xanax in the world for me to deal with this many people nope
Lmao my anxiety would explode!
Goosebumps at the "I got soul but I'm not a soldier" bit
An american band who Europe and the uk /scotland people have fallen in love with and will always be a special band in scotland anyway as long as we're young .tc all

Didn't they play the new band stage the year before this? What a ridiculously quick rise to fame they had!
Unreal, this gives me the chills and I love it

This song makes me nostalgic of memories i don't even have
