    I'm totally FOR what Mr. Murthy and now Mr. Subramanyam says. Only till the time of work hours.
    But I've some conditions...
    1. Equal equity ESOP distributed to the last working employee of the company.
    2. Equal pay & hours.
    3. Equal facilities to be disbursed to everyone in the company.
    In short there should be no demarcation between the Promoter of the company and the lowest rank of the company.
    Make every person working the owner in the company.
    Forget China or USA, we'll beat Jupiter too.
    India Inc. has lost itself to greed.
    If Murthy and Subramanyam love China do much they should migrate to China and own companies out there living there.
    All Corporate India does nowadays is to fool people and challenge their nationalist drive.
    Greed. Just pure greed.
    BTW Mr. Subramanyam I love my spouse and our family.

      I'm not bhakt nor i defend bjp butIt's not limited to bjp you see karnataka's congress tried to bring 14 hrs work week for it workers and we should raise this issue without any bias and also the work hours are counted in organized sector where as in unorganized sector they work way more than organized sector 70-80 hrs easily we should talk about them too

      Here in Australia, you have to pay at 1.5 times hourly rate for overtime and double rate for sunday and public holiday. Don't let them exploit you. If they can't pay wages then their business model is wrong.

    90 hrs a week with 7 days working means 12+ hours of work per day.
    Lets me break my working life now as an example..
    1. I work in mumbai but stay at suburbs where in i have to travel for 1 n hlf hr or more to reach the office and same time back home. So the time i have to actually spend for work per day is more than 15hrs.
    2. I have a house to look after, cook clean do laundry and i cannot afford a house help for each of the chores so who would do that if i have to stay away from home for 15 - 16 hrs a day without even a day off.
    3. How about the physical health if the person cant even get 5hrs of sleep? Not talking about mental health more as that seems to be a taboo in many of such people's pov.

    most of companies see only top employees and they think they pay well for them and its true, but mid and low level employee already work for low salary and asking them to work more for low salary is not fair. Apart from some IT employees, non-IT employees don't have saturday leave in most of the company. And the salary is also not increase as they increase for top level employees, they general give average hike percentage of company where majority hike goes to people already getting high salary. Its totally not fair to ask employee in general to work more hours without benefiting for them. Only company getting bigger and CEO getting richer, employee work only to survive, with this existing salary and inflation all they doing is surviving only.

    This is not a game of 70-80-90 hours if work.
    Corporate in background trying to increae PE ratio of share so that big ceo can dump their share on high price get bug profits. So that they need to show big profit in low investment that can be achieve by increase work hour so that they dont need more employee to hire. Mark my word they will tell 70-90 hours and settle down 60 hours of work in corporate. They know 90 hour is not feasible but if 60 hour fix they employee will ready to accept beacuse they feel that it is ok to work 60 hours than 90.

    Well Mr. Dictator speech clearly seems like I&T company needs more work forces.
    I appreciate his goals that he compared with china. Maybe china has no talented people so they are exploring their talented employees somehow china govt is also a dictator. But why spreading this non sense in india.
    If you want to do something good and you have requirement then why do they hire more employees.
    Even machine stops one day.
    They get repaired but their performance get weak.
    Like wise human need rest and carry out family responsibility.
    You may have achieved to highest and you are wealthiest but as human being you failed 👎

    Nothing wrong in working more hours, if you're paid more, as per hours..
    The hours of work need to be compensated by more money per hours, more job elevations, both, time bound and talent related..
