There is nothing wrong writing short stories but short format doesn't mean easy. I would use Drabble to describe character thought/introspection or as a training form. Good thing this allow you to write the essential. I hate that some Drabble, those which act like ideas, could be extended into novels.
Definitely not easier (or faster). I also don’t really think it’s a “training form” I love 100 word stories for themselves (you should check out 100wordstory.org/). While they may suggest ideas you can explore in a novel (or moments to bring into a novel) letting them be just what they are is a gift to yourself and your readers.
@@StoryADay I agree about "training form". Restraining words harm the story. A story is as along as it needed. Maybe a story end up as a Drabble or a one-shot. Content is what matter.
