For context, the first half of levels in kid icarus uprising are on rails shooter sections, so the music during the first half of the levels are built to go along with the action as it would always be timed along side the action with no variation

OMG! This has been one of my favorite games of all time!❤ The characters, story and dialogues are top level. The best 3DS game fo me. Also, the game was made by Sakurai creator of Kirby and Smash Bros. ❤ The arrangement of the song is as you said, curious, because inside the game it is a 5 minute chase sequence so there is a lot going on when this song plays.
