The first inhabitants of this coastal area were Christians they fled the area for fear of persecution by Muslim Arabs and started to live in the highlands of Eritrea called Kebesa. Their so-called prophet was actually a false prophet never sent by God but claimed to be the true prophet who persecuted and killed many followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and Jews in Arabia. He founded his religion by a sword, not by the word of God. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY HIM.
