I am grateful for your tutorials and patterns! As a beginner I was able to sew a deerstalker cap and have it turn out professional looking thanks to one of your other tutorials. I am currently working through this project, but I came across a problem. I cut out 4 identical brim pieces and attached interfacing to 2 in exactly the same way. The problem came when I went to join the 2 interfaced brim pieces, they wouldn't match up correctly with right sides together. If the pieces mirrored each other instead of looking identical it would have worked out perfectly. It was easy enough to cut out new pieces to make this work, and maybe I missed this instruction or maybe I'm the only one to make this mistake, but it could be helpful for you to include the instruction to cut out 2 of the brim pieces in the opposite directions. Thank you for all the time you've put into these tutorials; you're empowering this newbie!
Hi, Thank you for another good tutorial. I can't see an immediate use for this particular one right this moment, but give me time and I figure something out. So lovely to see you again, Yours, Ann
