Great video. I flew my family to North Eleuthera this past Thanksgiving. We stayed on Spanish Wells. Beautiful beach there too. We pretty much had it to ourselves. Always good to see new places to travel to.

The most beautiful beach is Lighthouse Beach at the farthest south end of the Island. Generally calmer waters, coral cliffs and coral bahmies out in the water to snorkel or find lobsters. Next time try Rock Sound! They also have a blue hole but there are fish in that one. Excellent video!

Good to know, thanks! We thought about going down to Rock Sound and checking out the south of the island but decided to leave that for the next time.

Thanks Manuel! Definitely do it when you can, it’s so beautiful. Do you have specific islands in mind?

@@WingsOverTO I haven’t decided yet. I like how you broke it down to decide where to go. I’ve been apprehensive about the legalities involved. I know I’m probably making it worse in my head than what it actually is. I did the same with my trip to Airventure. I guess I just have to do it to realize it’s not as bad as I thought.

I completely understand, I built it up into this big huge thing in my head during the planning, but I'm bullheaded enough that I went ahead anyway. :) That, and everyone I talked to who'd done said it was worth it. You're absolutely right, though, it'll be a lot easier when you're doing it than during the planning phase. Just gotta put together a really good checklist of everything that needs to be done and stick to it. :)

Is there a way to move here and maybe get a job. I am in my early 20s so I'm wondering if you have any info on the topic, thanks. I am working on a degree related to civil engineering so idk if i'd be of use @Wings Over TO

I'm sorry but I don't know anything about moving to the Bahamas. We just went there on vacation. Good luck!

Nice video, However , No Part of the Bahamas lies in the Caribbean sea. The entirety of the archipelago is in the Atlantic Ocean. The northern boundary of the Caribbean sea is made up of CUba, Jamaica, DR/Haiti, and Puerto Rico.

If the worst thing anyone says about the video is that I don't know where the Atlantic ends and the Caribbean begins, I'll take it. :) But yes, I was mistaken about that, the Bahamas are solidly in the Caribbean Sea. I was thrown by how different the waters on the east vs west side of Eleuthera are and made an assumption that was wrong.

Sorry….but none of the Bahamas are in the Caribbean. Been sailing these waters all of my life. The video is beautiful though. And I agree, regarding windward vs. leeward sides of the islands.

@@brianbirely4822 Yeah I misspoke - they're entirely in the Atlantic. I figured that out after the video and after 1 or 2 people pointed out that I had it wrong. Oh well.
