Very cool! Is running the return from the heater core down to the transmission intercooler what they did on the A1R trucks?

No, they didn’t do anything on the A1, A1R. They use a different cooler that only has 2 coolant ports and 2 oil ports instead of the 5 port cooler used on the A0…

Genius mod! Assuming a rad cap and fill on the upper radiator tube?

No I fill it thru the bottom drain port... The rad cap will remain on the exp tank for adjusting the level in that tank.
