Ray, I just want to wish you the best of luck as you prepare for your NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens. I know that you are excited and looking forward to August 7 when you all open at Foxboro against the AFC Champion Patriots. That will be a good game and good test, I'm sure. Again, congratulations and good luck.
i've never liked Rutgers and I don't New Jersey in general, but Ray Rice made me a fan. he embodies everything I love about college football. Unlike guys like Mike Hart who are quick and shifty but always get hurt, Rice will carry the ball 30-40 times every game and look great doing it. I can't wait to see him in the Pro's
hes a solid back who punishes ppl..alot like mcgahee in the sense he doesnt breakaway but is a very productive back.. he is used to pound denfenses .i agree as well reminds me of a emmmitt or payton
That scrub is leading the league in total yards from scrimmage in only his second year. He's arguably the most elusive back in the game, and probably the best pass catching back too. I'm with you, he sucks.
man cant wait to see him in purple. he had a really good line at rutgers, freeze when ever the ball is snaped and you can see holes opening up. man i hope our o-line pans out. MOVE OVER FRED TAYLOR, AND MJD, MAKE WAY FOR THE NFL'S BEST TANDEM MCGAHEE, AND RAY RICE, IT FEELS LIKE THE SAME SITUATION. DONT YOU THINK.
@Rochabp It's not your fault you didn't hear of him. I mean he was amazing and was a hiesman candidate but theres plenty of amazing college football players I haven't heard of.
@Rochabp if you did not know who he was in college you must not watch much college football he took the country by storm by leading rutgers as far as they got
Sadly, he's not crazy, he's just decent. Like most RBs, they're decent. They're RBs for a reason. He's 5'9 though, that's what sets him apart from most, if not, all RBs in the game. He's good for a 5'9 RB. But at the same time, it may be his 5'9 height that puts him at a disadvantage against the safety LBs and safety.
no good teams? look at the ones in this video... West Virginia,Louiville,UNC,Southern Florida,Pitt. Last Time i checked all of those teams are pretty good
Still, not really. He may be able to keep his balance, but come on, what good RB can't keep their balance. It's not a matter of him having good balance or not. We all know that being taller means you're able to cover more distance than that of a shorter person running the a certain amount of time. I'm not saying short people are slower, I'm just saying taller people can cover more distance quicker.
the pac 10 is the best. this year they have had 4 different teams in the top 5. when was the last time a conference did that. and the only lost for the good teams in the pac 10 come to other pac 10 teams. california the 7th best team in the pac 10(haha) beat the tennessee with ease. now isnt tenn. the 3rd best team in the sec?
Where is the evidence of this? They are both very good, but I definitely don't understand how Rice would be "soooooooo" much better than mcfadden. C'mon, you're talking about a team that has faced Buffalo(terrible, 1-2), Navy (also terrible, 1-2 just lost to Ball State) and Norfolk St (are you kidding?). And you're comparing Rice to McFadden whose first opponents were Troy (terrible, 1-2) and Alabama (very good, #16, 3-0). McFadden is averaging more yards per game and he has to share carries.
And Oregon with dennis dixon, jordan paysinger, cameron colvin, john bacon, a.j. tuitele, jeremiah johnson, vs. lsu would be the best n.championship in yrs. all of those players were starters. and how many teams does the sec have? sec fans good fans but horrible people anyway.
rutgers blows, this video was awesome till they focused more on beating louisville, by the way WVU was the best team in the division that year, and slaton was better then rice. I'm a ravens fan and i love lil ray but slaton is still better.
ballin video Ray Rice my favorite RB right now in the nfl
ray rice has descent speed, but his vision and patience are ELITE!!!!
He’s decent at knocking girls out too
Thanks for takin a pic. with me at the panthers pre season opening game against you guys preciate it man
He doesn't have the breakaway speed but has everything else. Vision, patience, strength and appears to run downhill. Definitely similar to Mike Hart
Ray Rice - the man of the university
a guy from rutgers is now 2nd leading rusher. Ray is THE MAN!
Ray, I just want to wish you the best of luck as you prepare for your NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens. Why you hate new Jersey?
The name of the song is"OH Fortuna".
wow future hall of fame, i am a giants fan but this is my favorite player
what is this song i hear it all the time
hes a solid back who punishes ppl..alot like mcgahee in the sense he doesnt breakaway but is a very productive back.. he is used to pound denfenses .i agree as well reminds me of a emmmitt or payton
Proud to be a Ravens fan
he is quick
ray rice came to my school last week caz he from new rochelle. go new ro!!
hells yeah!
im so happy hes starting he has to much talent to be behind magahee
wow great pick guys i really hope it turns out like the jacksonville combo with taylor, and jones drew
its ray rice from rutgers running for the ravens!
Ravens will be glad they have him.
@Rochabp He averaged 5 yards+ per carry and his longest TD was 90 yards
Ray Rice story is a tragedy tbh. He was so good yet fell so far as a person.
When you say "one man awoke the sleeping beast," you're talking about Brian Leonard, right?
I scrolled down to the comments to make this exact comment, but it looks like I already beat myself to the punch.
That scrub is leading the league in total yards from scrimmage in only his second year.
He's arguably the most elusive back in the game, and probably the best pass catching back too. I'm with you, he sucks.
the big east has some of the toughest defenses
prove x just wondering whens the last time julius jones scored cause ray rice has 5 strait games with a touchdown
Im a Steelers fan I wish they got Rice. But I am biased, he went to my high school.
GO KNIGHTS!!!
man cant wait to see him in purple. he had a really good line at rutgers, freeze when ever the ball is snaped and you can see holes opening up. man i hope our o-line pans out.
MOVE OVER FRED TAYLOR, AND MJD, MAKE WAY FOR THE NFL'S BEST TANDEM MCGAHEE, AND RAY RICE, IT FEELS LIKE THE SAME SITUATION. DONT YOU THINK.
WOW RR IS GOD! He just scored at Foxboro!! LOL
my man gettin loose in that purp uniform now
Damn. He got so many highlights, they had to start playing Fortune Plango Vulnera.
@Rochabp It's not your fault you didn't hear of him. I mean he was amazing and was a hiesman candidate but theres plenty of amazing college football players I haven't heard of.
Thats better then having the best wheels but not being able to see holes. He did what he had to do do and kept crossing those lines.
@Rochabp if you did not know who he was in college you must not watch much college football he took the country by storm by leading rutgers as far as they got
whats the name of the music in the middle of the vid?
@Rochabp It's all good.
A FOOD WITH IT
whats this song called? in the beginning?
R U? R U!!! Everyone deserves a second chance....
:Him and Mcgahhee switch off I was talking to them earlier today
where's the 5th gear?
seems like his speed runs out after 30 yards and he's can't find the end zone on long runs
@obird360 Carl Orff - Carmina Burana
Sadly, he's not crazy, he's just decent. Like most RBs, they're decent. They're RBs for a reason. He's 5'9 though, that's what sets him apart from most, if not, all RBs in the game. HEY CAM ! GIVE ME DA ROCK MORE
Flacco aint got shit on me
love ray
Well actually, QBs usually aren't known for their speed. Unless we're talking about Pat White. Booty's not very fast and is a Heisman candidate.
Go RICE!
check out the video on my page, it's footage taken in New Brunswick after the RU football win over Navy.
Whats the name of this song?
Song?
no good teams? look at the ones in this video... West Virginia,Louiville,UNC,Southern Florida,Pitt. Last Time i checked all of those teams are pretty good
look at 2:19
he stiff arms the shit out of 1 of the best defenive ends in the country:
Gerge Selvie(Soph.)
Still, not really. He may be able to keep his balance, but come on, what good RB can't keep their balance. It's not a matter of him having good balance or not. with willis it'll an unstoppable two headed monster
She spit on him
Rutgers Cmd
he should of picked SU instead of RU
why does he have to do it to UNC that way lol
Love Ray Rice but i'll say leonard was the one who catalyzed the football program
nah dude he wasnt their only team they had brian leonard tiquan underwood kenny britt and well mike teel sucked then
More like FRIED RICE
the pac 10 is the best. this year they have had 4 different teams in the top 5. when was the last time a conference did that. and the only lost for the good teams in the pac 10 come to other pac 10 teams. california the 7th best team in the pac 10(haha) beat the tennessee with ease. now isnt tenn. the 3rd best team in the sec?
tennessee shut his ass down too
Nope SORRY he's not going to the bears because they have Cedric Benson, Adrian Peterson, and drafted Garrett Wolf in last years draft.
but even though you had ray rice you lose in triple overtime to wvu thats right i went there
WERE IS RUTGERS ?
new brunswick, new jersey
Where is the evidence of this? They are both very good, but I definitely don't understand how Rice would be "soooooooo" much better than mcfadden. rice is freakin slow
rice is SOOOOOOO much better than darren mcfadden
1.darren mcfadden is overrated
2.ray rice and steve slaton are way better and this kid noel devine is gonna rip defenses apart next year
rutgers blows, this video was awesome till they focused more on beating louisville, by the way WVU was the best team in the division that year, and slaton was better then rice. I'm a ravens fan and i love lil ray but slaton is still better.
Dude you ruined this good video with the music
McFadden is overrated.
WVU clearly has the best backfield in the country.
ray rice is a scrub. julius jones owns him.
Ray Rice can be compared to Marion Barber. Just not as strong.
Julius Jones sucks compared to Ray Rice
Name of the song?
