If you can give us a guide via Mobylitics or even Maxroll as their planners are great. I would defo follow this and see how you came about it too, there's not alot of variation with the Warrior class so i think this will be a great addition for others to see
Not so much of a guide, but more so gems, skills, and what he leveled as. He feels uncomfortable writing a guide, but a more skeleton version is more than enough.
Negative armor break is very underestimated (if it works, there was investigations on how it might not actually do "below zero" thing rn). I was so intrigued on this concept i've made my first character all about it. But i also was Very excited to play crossbow. So i took bones of Wooile guide and mixed it wigh generic good crossbow progression. And it surprisingly works pretty well. No uniques needed. Got 3rd Ascendancy first try before maps. My solution to constant freeze-clear is generic Frag rounds+Glacial bolt. Frag rounds do insane pure phys on frozen targets. And GB does great cc since: 1) physically blocks mobs and projectiles (nice defence); 2) for some reasone mobs do aggro on walls, so you always can distract mobs with wall and break it for BIG pop. HoA+HoI+AB explosions+Frozen explosions all stack with each other for BIG CLEAR (without uniques!). HoG (orbitral strike) is giga strong on broken armor with nice thick bleed on top. Can mix it up with Sunder when it on cd. Its so fun to run around with shotgun, its kinda feels like playing Doomslayer.
I was following Woolie's armor break warbringer guide and it was alright but as soon as I hit maps, it felt very clunky just running in straight lines with stampede. I switched to this but it semi-works. I don't have the unique gloves, so I can't proc the frost explosions, hence I am not using Herald of Ice. I have Herald of Ash instead and have slotted Scattershot, Armour Breaker and Magnified Effect to the Explosive Shot, I'm only allowed 3 slots right now. So, breaking the armor is not an issue, one or two salvos will do it, it's the rest of the damage that is not coming. I have an Oil Grenade to help me kill groups and occassionally pop Infernal Cry for a boost. Hammer of the Gods is slotted with Exploit Weakness, Lacerate for the bleed and Heft for more damage. It works, but it's not as smooth as I'd like it to be.
@@AnotherComputer trading literally exists to get those 1 pieces missing from your build instead of wasting hundred of hours farming them or not being able to try a build at all. Buying a unique that enables a build is no "abusing" trading bro. There is nothing to feel bad about.

Might as well go three dragons and then use herald of thunder and ice so you get giga damage. Same concept as the crossbow ranger with explosive shot pretty much
First thing We did after the Miller was equip a crossbow; Warrior speed and damage issues _solved._ We were a bit heartbroken at not being able to use Giant's Blood to dual wield crossbows.
As usual, GGG can't seem to make any melee skill not make another ranged skill scale harder...... I don't know how many times this has been said on the PoE forums.
Also given all the stun build up you have seem pity not to take Perfect Opportunity where you get lucky hit against heavy stunned enemies. Also run xbow with additional bolt so explosive shit has 2 bolt then auto reload support where you reload on heavy stun. You basically never have to reload while mobbing.
BTW, what do you think about aiming in PoE2? It's close enough to a shooter, but my problem is that it has a very slight auto-aim where if you hover over any enemy it will roughly target their center of mass. When using a shotgun crossbow skill or any aoe skill, I wanna be able to shoot at an exact point, and that has been bothering me. Otherwise, I think aiming well does help playing PoE2 more than it would seem at first.
The auto-aim is pretty annoying tbh. With explosive shot it's not a big deal, but for a lot of my leveling I was using High Velocity Rounds and they'd often fly off in some random direction.

A more elegant solution for freezing you say... 😏Maybe you should try a bow/xbow stormweaver next with all damage contributes to shock (for the damage buff) and chill nodes, then use a Polcirkeln ring so all chilled enemies count as frozen to shatter, which makes herald of ice recursive with itself, as its own explosion will chill everything around it, and with enough damage shatter those enemies and so on. After hearing how bad melee was and then seeing the armor break builds my first thought was also.. what if I find a better way to do it with bow/xbow? And then it got patched before I finished leveling and Ill revisit the warbringer later. Cause next thought was why make a deadeye when I could make a titan and see how many stupid nodes I could stack for damage or aoe or ailment magnitude with hulking form? And they're doing alright but then I thought.. why not just make a bow sorc and use stormweavers passives to keep double shock and chill applied to everything? Somehow the bow sorc ended up being stronger on the way to 60 than the bow titan I don't know why. It's just a couple ele damage, pen, and shock magnitude clusters vs titan with ~600% damage, 330% lucky low hit damage, and over 150% aoe at just level 60 🤣 The bow sorc is even better because of how much chill, freeze, and the boosted perma shock debuff I keep on everything its ended up being as much a party debuff build as it has a good dps. All bosses and monsters end up feezing immediately and do all their attacks in ultra slow motion, its so good for team mates who suck at dodging (like me perhaps). And me when I can't see what to dodge when they're spamming the floor with too many effects lol. I just saw there are full on zdps builds for parties too so I may experiment more with that later.
cool build, probably wont be viable end game because of how armour works right now, its bad unless you're using a shield and all warrior builds require shields to survive. I wonder if theres a witchhunter variant to this with sorcery ward and the unique flame cloak that converts 40% phys to fire dmg. not sure if just the one support gem is enough to break armour with explosive shot, but the poison cloud one does it well.
Poison armour break is too slow to proc the armour break explosions since it's a DoT and won't scale with # of projectiles. Splinter also requires physical damage, so you either have to be a Warbringer for the generic damage type armour break or convert very little (if any at all) of your damage from phys to something else.
Warbringer has totally viable Totem and Corrupting Cry setups (that are honestly probably better than this at all investment levels), and Titan melee is in a decent spot if you know what you're doing. Sure the clear won't beat out a Sparkmage or attribute stacker, but it's plenty doable.
@@briannewman532 In the endgame block, not armour, carries your defenses. Yes armour is in a bad place, yes energy shield is much better, but you can absolutely be tanky and succeed on Warrior and left-side builds in general.
the only issue about this build is that I play this game in a dark room and everytime I kill a pack I got flashbang on my screen.

Windows Night Light setting does help. You use it a couple hrs before going to sleep, and your sleep quality will be better too.
If we moan for the Giant's Blood to work on Crossbows long enough, you think GGG will eventually let us use them with shields?

Look up carnarius’s molten titan build, it works with woolie’s but you also have to invest in gear too.

So basically Ancestral spirit spawn when you summon totem, ballista counts as totem. Does that mean you can go crossbow warbringer totem build?

I did Go the same way but it gets slow and lack damage at higher tier maps above 12

From what I've seen any skill that naturally or supported to consume broken armor doesn't apply any armor break.

If you're playing WASD movement then you have an aim assist on. Click to move doesnt have that aim assist.
