When I joined the community it was Gas, Heat, Thugs, Fuel, but I figured out some pathing that makes Air just ever so slightly faster than Fuel and cut off about 30ish seconds. Gas is by far the fastest Day 1 scenario because you can complete it without needing to refuel the generator which saves a lot of time. The only trade off is that you need to rely on a 50/50 for whether or not you're on the right floor. Recently we actually almost switched out Thugs with Thunderstorm because of how much time it saves on Day 4, but found that Thugs is just so much faster than Thunderstorm that it doesn't matter.
**I have some Questions** - Barry can die dehydrated due to hot weather without water and Cody can die frozen due to freezing weather. What happens if they died these ways? What will happen in The Awakening? - If you don't get a perfect in the Acidic Rain night, your roof will melt down. What happens if you go to the ceiling after it did? - I never saw a person waiting to die on the moon. What happens if you wait too long on the moon (all ways: inside the broken spaceship, outside on the moon and inside the place)? - When you don't get Cody or Barry to come with you they die due to the weather. What would they look like if they were frozen / burned? - From what I know you can use the rifle on them before talking to them. What happens if you do it? - What happens when you run out of time without using the clock? - Can you avoid some important cutscenes and go move on without them? - Can you shoot at Sarge or his members on night 3 before the storm?
-Dialogue Changes from David -The attic melts, You can use something to make a bridge but it's redundant since getting ácid rain means You don't need to get to the rooftop -You can't die by waiting on the moon, it's cinemátic effect, -They look like you'd expect. -You kill Barry, cate manhandles You if You try to kill Cody -If You run out of time without ending the day (clock) You get an instant Death, if You re inside your house, your preps hold, but your equipped item isnt counted (because "David didnt make use of in time [I Guess he's really slow to put on a hazmat suit, eh?]) -I believe You can skip a few, like in this speedrun, but most are mandatory to progress -You can shoot sarge, if You try to shoot his men You get Made into a Swiss cheese

Question 2: does he appear frozen if left behind on the Blizzard scenario instead? Does it make the gas worse or simply won't work? - Can you survive the Blizzard scenario by staying in the cave? - If you break and put the cold tiles on the ground, unclog the chimney (and even open everything, doors and the hatch on the roof, tho it doesn't count but still) on the Blizzard scenario does the death bar it go further than 100%? - Same question for the Heat Wave. If you do everything you would do on the Blizzard scenario like opening the oven, unclog and even light the chimney, (open everything tho it doesn't count) and put on the warm coat does it go further than 100% or it will just stay like that? - If you don't bury your deceased friend fallen from the office and on day 3 there's the acidic rain / thunderstorm scenario, do they appear molten / half skeleton on day 4? - I'm sure it won't work like 99%, but what if you bring the flamethrower in the restaurant restroom to kill the bugs / melt the webs? (No need to test cuz I'm still sure Cate would prevent David from doing that) - If you start the shuttle without opening the silo hatch, will the game count it as a Moon Crashing On Earth death or an unknown (and probably inexistent) Shuttle Crashing On The Silo death? - What if you convince Sarge to go but then you poison their food? What will he do? - Can you shoot at Cate the first time you meet her? And if you do will she try to kill you back or you just can't because you need her to go to space? - What does the game say if you try to (uselessly) strengthen your shelter on day 4? Probably nothing but instant death, but I'm curious. - What would the crew say about David if, about the mummified corpse, he'd say "Wait... And if Cody was right?"? Lol I'd imagine Cate's reaction to it. - What happens if you get the wrong order while mixing the chemestry things in the lab 13? And what if you have one scenario but do the opposite stuff required in there? (Ex.: you have the Fuel Deficency scenario but instead of making the cathalist fuel thing you make the pill stuff and vice versa) - What happens in The Awakening if you collect no floppy disks? Is it gonna be a fake ending of the first playthrough? And David will say nothing about the past? - What are the dialogues changes if you play using the custom game with both disks? And is one of the two, Barry or Cody, forced to die in the office because on the 3rd nightmare David won't dream about the stairs because none of them died before? - Can you go to the bathroom on the 3rd dream (in The Awakening) and, Idk, meet the shadow thing or what just happens? - What if you put the wrong number on the Pest Control device and also put in both places inside the house or too far from the house? If you put it in the house or too far from it the device fends off 25 bugs in total, Idk how many with the wrong number, so will it even work? - Can you survive the thunderstorm with 1% water or more entering into your house or is it death for yoi and your friends? Obviously with the thugs it ain't possible cuz they'd kill you right away anyway. - If one of the members in the group doesn't take the pill on the Oxygen scenario, just one of them, but everyone, Cate included, does, then is still Cate the one who'll die? Because I'm unsure if she'll die because she'll speed up the shuttle or they'll die because they run out of air or smth like that. - You can steal food from the thugs, but can you after you poisoned it? And if you can, what if you give it to Cody? - Can you give the crew both water and warm coat? - What if you insist more than twice on entering in Barry's house when he's still mourning his wife's death? Does he get mad at some point and attack you? - What happens if you shot the guard thug without installing silencer and scope to the rifle, do you get caught? - Why are there 12 free pods and not 4? Does that mean we could have saved more people if they wanted to come or survived? I could count them: the crew (-4), Maggie if she was alive (-1), the military squad if they wanted to come (-5), Razor if he wasn't a piece of s__t and would have simply joined the group (-1) and that Jacob Salmann if he would not have spread the mails all over the world. I'm 75% sure of it. - If there's electricity in the house, even if not needed, can it somehow help on day 3? Like, Idk, maybe with the thugs you could see better? Nah ok I understand it's useless. - If you know you got a perfect score in the Acidic Rain scenario, the game won't even need to show you have covered windows and closed doors because you already reached 0%. So what if you do a perfect score but avoid covering the windows? Will it still count as "Hey, you didn't cover the windows! It's not perfect!" and show it first or will it show the other stuff before and the windows still won't count? - What if you don't have the blue blanket (and, just to be sure, no blankets cuz Idk maybe you left them somewhere) with you on Day 3? In the aftermath, how will the crew bury the bandits? Will there be a pile of corpses outside the house? - Can you fuel your gasoline tank using the crashed motorcycle? - What's the percentage of the acidic rain to make Cody (and Idk if it works with Barry too) drown in the acid but you survive? Or at least, can you even survive it while they don't or you die with them? - What happens if you get electrocuted more times because of the doormat / elevator's electrical cabinet or the crane (when you have to install the storm chaser)? Does David die at some point? - What happens if you use the flamethrower against the bandits? When they get inside and you'll burn them, will their bodies look like the van corpses after the Heat Wave? - Can you give the knife to Cody (while you give the revolver to Barry)? - When Cate tells you to leave the house she'll shoot Razor. I saw a couple moments where you made some small errors in mouse movement, which could save maybe 5-6 second. Have you considered turning up your mouse sensitivity? There were some moments where you could save some time with a higher mouse sensitivity. Of course you would need to get used to a higher sensitivity. I would try speedrunning myself, but I don't have the game unfortunately :(
Specifically, I'm talking about day 2, at the trailer. You missed the hook with the wrench your first try, and you missed the heat absorber with your wrench first try. Other than that, amazing run! Edit: another place where you could save a tiny bit of time is in the launchpad, where you missed the fingerprint scanner first try, and another in the supply ship, where you missed the crate first try.

Probably because you shouldn't click directly on the item if you want to pick it up. Try double clicking on the closest part of ground so David runs towards it, then pick it up, or about doors and elevators, the first time you need to go through it David walks slowly because IDK maybe the first time it's like this. Since the second time he'll be traveling faster by the doors (not sure, it's a theory cuz I don't own the game lol), or IDK if it doesn't work try to do the same as the objects.
Honestly since it’s only a couple minutes into the run, I just guess. The only reason I pick up the drone is because I don’t feel like also guessing the solution combo in the truck.
@@Duffyboi actually when you read the note next to the body with hazmat suit, it said the density of the air, also the drone at the bridge location can tell you how much of the density of the toxic gas, if the density of the gas is higher, it's mean that you should stay upper floor, if it's lower then on the down floor.
@@Duffyboi tbh it is a 50/50 but most of the times the right floor is the upper one because all videos about the gas I saw, the gas was always heavier than air. Maybe one or two rare videos to find were on the ground floor but I honestly don't know.
@@lanhnhusuong8583 it's right but actually I don't think it's a 50/50 since 80-90% of the times the gas is heavier than air and David has to stay on the upper floor. I mean, 100% of the videos I watched, at least on the 99% the gas was heavier than air, I think it's rare if the gas is lighter.
@@Inesistente imagine staying in the first nightmare for so long, then anytime deciding to do the run walking as slow as possible, having to do anything perfect since it would require more time and getting to do longer tasks (and maybe useless) that'd be hilarious lol

Yeah no, in order to be a speedrun you actually have to BEAT the game, not half-ass one cycle. If you want to do that, then specify that's what you're doing, instead of claiming you're doing the FULL GAME for clickbait.
Sorry you feel that way, but this is Any% which only encompasses the first ending of the game as it is the fastest way to achieve an ending of the game. Me and another runner are currently working on the 100% run which will encompass every Steam achievement instead.
Dude it says Any% in the title, it's not a speedrun of the perfect game always 100% with everyone alive and the true ending so don't complain about it. "Full game" means beating this playthrough without dying once in this case (because this isn't even the full game in that way since there'd be the awakening included). Btw I'd like to see someone beating the full game without any mistakes this way lol-
