At his SAND18 appearance A.H. Almaas talks about the importance and mystery of being human, and of the great opportunity and potential of human beings. He tells us that his aim is to expand our horizons beyond the limitations of the nondual point of view--reminding us that God needs the human being to know itself--and hopes we will come away with a greater appreciation of our preciousness.

This is gold. I can completely relate to many of the things he is saying here. I always tell myself that I am in so many separate bodies when I am surrounded by so many people. It removes all anxiety, depression, feelings of comparison etc. I just feel pure love for “everyone”. I also I am very close to God, and I remind myself that we are meant to live our lives in love, and I feel so connected with the world, rather than disconnected (what I initially felt when I got into spirituality). Thank you for sharing this video with us 🙂

Human Being is a label. A dog doesn't say I'm a dog. It doesn't have the capacity for language in this way. It just knows it is. Same way we just know we are.

That is what Idries Shah taught me, near to death, I saw nothing, and when I came back, it is all me.

Just as your statement about the nondualists who say there is no body or world shows you are not experiencing this...and flat out the human mind cannot grasp God...you must be god to know God....it is a truth that simply is known because we experience moving beyond the body....beyond the world. Yes there are philosophers whom believe this....but the philosophy comes from those whom have experienced this.

Maybe something can be finite and infinite at the same time?
Take a string of numbers for example, 1, 2, 3, and so on infinitely,
But it all starts from one.

Murad Talukdar Potential by definition is infinite. The goal or aim is what sets the limitation.
