I love the Brutal music around 2:08 building up. I got too amped up and whooped his ass with fast thinking techniques when that theme came up. I love how when you are walking through the cradle that if you know where to go, that all the flying bricks land in perfect harmony along with the music playing that is SO COOL!
The best memory of this game was when my cousin Adam was playing this & The Conqueror summoned a gigantic Sword and said the word "Die" and killed one of his squads we burst out laughing
I remember the first time I played this game, I never use guides but in this case I should have. I sat in the first couple caves and got my battle rank to 200 before I even fought the first few bosses. Little did I know this would make it near impossible for me to gain any weapons for anyone. I still managed to beat the game but the final boss turned into a 1 hour long fight of 1 shot kill 1 union, attack with another, and revive with the last union. If any of them didn't roll the rotation of abilities, the fight was lost, took a few weeks but I managed to finally beat his ass. Then I looked up some guides and yea... Made a second playthrough and literally killed him within minutes... Definitely a unique anti grind rpg and a lot of fun in combat. Only wish it was all interactive like Legend of Dragoon was.
+CA H additions were the shit! Just too bad that it was sort of pointless to go dragoon form since magic didn't recharge IIRC, and your final human additions did more damage than even a complete dragoon addition, which was notoriously difficult to pull off.
Revenant Snievan Turbo mode is easily the best change of the PC version, simply because it makes the heavy grinding in the game go by at a super fast pace.
It will have a appropriate moment when The Conqueror shows up at the 2:04 of the music.... It give me a feel like "The final boss is shows up, the real battle begins."
@Xaio30 You could set the game to figuratively roll the dice and randomly do the quicktimes for you. I did this and most of the time they were completed successfully.
@Superlightningblade It seems like the different formations you can use play a large role in how your groups perform, and depending on who is in what position in the formation determines if you unlock an improved version of that formation. It's frustrating that you're given no clue as to why or how this happens.
LOL I beat this game, funny thing is I beat the conqueror with ex machina as a finishing blow and ragdoll physics did the rest..... it was hilarious xD
Since they've had time to refine the PS3 version, i am sermising due to the Blue-ray there hopefully won't be any lagging as with the current PC version.
So I remember seeing this game a long time back now (maybe a year or 2 after it came out) had no clue what it was called for some reason and remembered sometime last year. I never played it but from what I seen it is not as broken as everyone says. I want to kind of make a series on it for my channel but I am not to big of a fan of RPGs which this game is I believe. Can anyone reply and let me know if they would think this game would be a good game into? Mostly just wondering is it the kind of RPG that involves hours upon hours of grinding to continue. That was my problem with FF13.
mase598 Not really, only if you want to do a 100% run. Just doing the story you should get more then enough xp and levels just going through normally. In fact it's better NOT to level up too much because enemies scale at a crazy rate.
GeoRyukaiser Kinda funny I got the game a couple of months ago on PC it was a lot of fun but it's way to hard for me lol. Can't get past one mission but it was fun until then gotta retry it eventually.
mase598 If the mission was to kill a flying monster in a canyon, I know the one. ...To be honest I got a save game editor and lowered my battle rank/level to like... 5... and thus nerfed the hell out of that boss.
GeoRyukaiser No the one I am on is like you have to fight an army or something I believe. You get 1 ally squad with you and they pretty much just die instantly.
The PS3 and 360 versions have atrocious loading times, even requiring you to wait up to 10 seconds just to use a skill during battle at times. Texture pop-in is pretty bad too, but then it is using the Unreal engine, so that's to be expected. Played on a decent PC, there are absolutely no loading times mid-battle, it's perfectly smooth. Standard loading times are much faster, and texture pop-in is greatly reduced. So far superior on pc if you like a smooth game experience =)
Thank you!! Just finieshed game with medium setting with no AA. Still got stable 60fps with some frame drop when to much moving object shown in screen (with mostly very rare) and expected texture popping
BeepingMetal not really, its just SE not knowing at all what to do with the Engine. I never have problems with Unreal Tournament games and Last Remnant. But then again, I have 4GB of VRAM
yea that does but i doubt that even dling it to the hardrive will even help besides PC ver is better =[ i mean they get their party members all leader which isnt fair to PS3 nor xbox 360
Type in 'Nisus meaning' into google and you'll see what the word Nisus actually means, and trust me, it not nice =X It makes me wonder why the crap they named this song after THAT!
They really need to remake this game. This epic music could be remembered by many if the game was popular.
I think you got your wish.
We were all thinking in 2017 but this man was already in 2019

this game has to have had the BEST OST of any game ever . the music is just brilliant!
I like this song, it had some sort of strong emotion, like... "We're close to winning"
The best memory of this game was when my cousin Adam was playing this & The Conqueror summoned a gigantic Sword and said the word "Die" and killed one of his squads we burst out laughing
Gigantic sword... you mean Valeria Heart?
+fanatykgier yup war god III
The Conqueror is full of surprise.
Yeah, this music always gives me chill. Beautiful yet scary at the same time
2:12 is heavy as hell, I love this game
Man, this game had some reaqly awesome music. REALY AWESOME.
This and Press To Victory are some of my favourite game tunes ever!
This is some great music. makes me want to beat The Last Remnant for a third time. Really good game overall.
I'm so glad this game was released on PC! Keep 'em coming Square!! Also, great music!

+CA H I'm guessing you were playing the Xbox 360 version? Cause the PC version fixed the disastrous Battle Rank problem.
its disgusting how much better they made the pc version
Revenant Snievan
Turbo mode is easily the best change of the PC version, simply because it makes the heavy grinding in the game go by at a super fast pace.
what? also allowing you to use lupode and a couple other units too
This music always makes gameplay more fun and just BETTER!. :P
The Evil King brought me here.
Stayed for awesome music.
Alex K souls... give me your souls
Alex K Rain of swords
That's the best you can do? How weak!
it was such a nice game i really loved it when i played it back then if only it had a better ending..
It will have a appropriate moment when The Conqueror shows up at the 2:04 of the music....
It give me a feel like "The final boss is shows up, the real battle begins."
REMASTER! Ya Boi, The Conqueror is BACK baby! And remember people, use Cachexia!
*dodged
@@taiwanisanindependentcountry Oof.
This is why you train multiple hex users tho :D
@Xaio30 You could set the game to figuratively roll the dice and randomly do the quicktimes for you. I did this and most of the time they were completed successfully.
True Conqueror Rank 8...... my most closest call fight ever.
2:04 to 2:18 is just sick! Tsuyoshi Sekito is a genius.
The Conqueror is AWESOME!!
Sickest boss fight on this game!
Can’t fucking wait for this final set of fights in the remaster!!!
Yaaa, the Conqueror Battle was and is still really an awesome battle !!!
真覇王のルーチンワーク中々強烈だったな
This tune makes me want to have it out with my psychological demons. :)
Greatest fucking music in videogame history!!
Totally going to hire a guy to walk into everywhere i go first and play this
Thanks for the information
the PS3 will be released at a later date the PC version is already out. Great soundtrack by the way.
1:35 - 1:50 ... just epic... the best.
EPIC part starts in 2:04!
Yeah i'm sure that would speed up the load sequences at least. The effectiveness of disk installs seems to vary from game to game.
That guy one-shotted all of my unions at 9999hp in one fell swoop. Jeezus.
@Superlightningblade i think they meant to use this meaning "An effort or endeavor to realize an aim."
@Superlightningblade It seems like the different formations you can use play a large role in how your groups perform, and depending on who is in what position in the formation determines if you unlock an improved version of that formation. It's frustrating that you're given no clue as to why or how this happens.
Possibly due to Battle Rating or his Rank.
He grows in rank based on number of subquests you have completed, from 1-8 then to Absolute.
So very true
only the dead know peace form the Conquorer's wraith
ACTIVATE SAVAGE MODE
When this theme plays you know you're screwed
well i actually meant if you beat the game and start a new game + you will start a harder mode than the first time you playing
Fucking downloaded!
LOL I beat this game, funny thing is I beat the conqueror with ex machina as a finishing blow and ragdoll physics did the rest..... it was hilarious xD
@Smaugren I didn't really mind the gameplay...
It takes some time to get used to, but after that I think it works quite well personally.
This is the most epic boss battle theme, EVER. The only thing that tops this is Schismogenesis.
This song has One-winged Angel energy
This is WAY better
It should be called "Press (A) to Victory" for all the times there were quicktime events. :P
best fucking boss theme
Since they've had time to refine the PS3 version, i am sermising due to the Blue-ray there hopefully won't be any lagging as with the current PC version.
nice
well would it make it a difference if u dl the game disk into ur xbox 360 hardrive ?

i was close enough
its all fun and games until the conqueror comes to the battle field
Which platform on this game is the best? PC, X-box360 or PS3? and PC is when release?
Favorite part
0:53
did u beat the game?
@clout10 Didn't know about that meaning... Fair enough.
help me..i'm stuck in the 5 boss batle....area 3..ludope =(
Ludope is quite easy, i actually beat him before snievan. Just kill the guys who use mystic arts before the guys who use the combat arts

Hey I got very old PC with specs :
Athlon II X2 254
Nvidia GT 430 1 Gb
RAM 3 GB
Can I play it with high setting on 60 fps??
you should be able to but your gpu might not be able to do on high with 60fps.
Plus its the Unreal Engine so expect frame and frame rate issues
Sammy102093 Unreal engine hates ANY gpu.
Probably not
2:08
The Conqueror
This is definitely my theme song
nope this is the boss song just before the final boss the final boss song is schismogenesis
HAHAHA YOUVE GOT A POINT THERE XD
yea that does but i doubt that even dling it to the hardrive will even help besides PC ver is better =[ i mean they get their party members all leader which isnt fair to PS3 nor xbox 360
trying fighting the absolute conqueror in hard mode its more difficult since the game difficulty is determine by the mode you pick
Sounds like a mix of .Hack://G.U. and Kingdom Hearts
@Smaugren Meh, true...
Type in 'Nisus meaning' into google and you'll see what the word Nisus actually means, and trust me, it not nice =X
It makes me wonder why the crap they named this song after THAT!
@hikarisalterio And then Schismogenesis played and it was like, 'OH SHIT WERE GONNA DIE!!!'
Soz about late reply btw...
Conqueror -> War God III
Me : GG
White Conqueror: War God IV
Me: GG
Why was the coqueror so fuckn easy
@HappyHawaiinSauce and by trying cross-counter this UR ALSO CONTINUING THIS IDIOCY :P dnt reply I have a life....
@Superlightningblade Yeah really awesome music but fucking awkward gameplay.
Oh... Woa, the meaning of 'Nisus' isn't pretty....
Why are these super compressed horrible quality tracks? I love the song, but this is unlistenable.
Thos game kinda sucks and makes no sense. How is it the stronger you get the cheaper and harder the badguys become?
