I raced in expert class in 80s/90s. I cannot believe how much BMX has progressed technology wise. Your bike, the training tools, tracks....

I'd love to see a video about rhythm sections. What sort of little adjustments can you make to improve? How do different lines really affect your times through the section?

I like the ting ting with the pedal against the steel sprint stand.

Thanks for the info Barry. I like watching your training videos because I feel like that's where the race is won or lost. Personally I've been out of BMX for 30 years. Back in the early 90's we did trackstands into sprints. Then I had a sponsor and got a gate for the house. When I got the gate I never really did trackstands into sprints anymore. Honest question, why practice with the sprint block if you have a gate at home? A long time ago I trained with Mike Redman (at this Santa Anna shop when he was still doing MRC) he told me to train like you race. (note, I'm not a fan of Mike Redman but I was using him as an example of advice I'd been given in the early 90's)

I just got one of these last week and haven't had a chance to try it out. I'm working hard in the off season this year and hoping to some payoff in the spring. PS Love your videos! A friend turned me on to them amd I have been sharing them with my boys and others friends.

I have had a sprint block for 1 year and I build tracks on my street like I have 4 ramps so I sprint off the block for 60ft to a double and 20ft after that is a step up and I use cones for a turn!

Hay Barry will be getting one of these for Shure. I remember when you where doing your Grands training program and you said one quote,. It was " They don't redo main events ! " I would love to see this on a t shirt with maybe with your race number or something I have been saying it ever since I heard you say it. Big fan Barry hope you and your lady's are doing well. I would love to buy some merch , I am currently trying to get one of your old number plates down here in Australia.

Great video Barry. I’ve been told by a pro 80% first pedal 100% second pedal. Reason timing and not to overcommit to the first pedal and miss the second. Thoughts?

@@jacobjames1171 I would have no use for it. Also I am not camera equipped to do any proper videos. That being said, my point stands, there is no secret material or technology in this product that could justify that price. With basic wood working skills and a bit of free time, you can build yourself one easy, and even customize it to your needs, instead of buying an expensive piece of plastic.
