So many years has passed, and this episode never fails to send me chills
The thing I missed about Zenitsu until this episode was that he really is just one of us normal people. He struggles with self-worth issues and never amounted to much, but was then thrust into this world of insane danger and is expected to perform and be brave and courageous etc. Wtf do you expect him to suddenly become a superhero?
This was the episode I stopped minding the whining and crying and he became one of my favs.
Ah yes, the "normal" human with superhuman hearing you mean?
I love zenitsu as a character, but this argument really doesn't hold up. Most of the characters in this show were basically living their normal lives till something happened that thrust them into this world of demons. I mean, even Tanjiro was living his normal life until the tragedy happened. Zenitsu knows demons exist, has been trained by a former hashira, he has superhuman hearing, he consciously knows he has mastered the first form, etc. So it's really not an excuse that "he's one of the normal people".
The causes for his issues are
1) Self-doubt which is mainly a result of no one believing in him
2) No tragic incident in his life caused by demons. So he doesn't have any motivation.

Zenitsu's master is one of the people you'd want to teach you something. Instead of getting onto him for only knowing 1 form he praised him for it and told him to be the best at that one form. Not only did that give Zenitsu a little more confidence in himself which he desperately needed but it also showed him that knowing only one was enough. That led him to invent a variation of it in Sixfold. Thunderclap and Flash is a iai technique (a singular sword draw in most cases) designed to strike once and at high speed. Sixfold takes that concept and multiplies it not only giving him the ability to move on a dime but theoretically could be used to decapitate 6 demons at once if it ever came to that

Zenitsu perfected only one form, but that's also the reason why he's the only one who never had his sword broken despite extreme fights 😊
9:07 technically he is considered Zenitsu’s adopted older brother. But none of them use the title ‘aniki’ or anything like that. So it is probably just in Jigoro (their trainer)’s perspective of the two.

Zen embodies most young men. Scared and broken, by showing emotion he is exiled. No woman will take him seriously because he is not perfect and strong. He loves women so much but they hate him. Emotional men are a gross turn off of course, but it takes him a long journey to realize that!

Zenitsu’s move at max output is at Hashira level. Zenitsu is actually stronger than the other two
he's not stronger than tanjiro at any point after episode 19

@@inquisitive6786 What evidence do you have to support that? Tanjiro has more feats atp and throughout the rest of the series. His godspeed (when he's way stronger than he is now) couldn't even behead daki and tanjiro was able to behind gyutaro

Why do people love Zenitsu so SOO much?! He’s a crybaby. He’s a simp. Only useful when he’s ’not even there’ (in terms of sleeping) and the most he has going for him is Chuntaro. (His bird)

Kaigaku is just a better version of him. He has more powers than Zenitsu, he’s a bad guy. (Which I personally think villains are better than heroes.) he has a SICK design. He helped out with the plot a LOT more than people think. (Ex: making Gyomei become a demon slayer. Hence actually saving Japan by beating Kokushibou. And also getting Shinobu to become a Hashira. Which helped with defeating Douma.) AND HES A ABSOLUTE JERK. (Personally I think I have a obsession with characters that are mean or psychopaths in a way.) And. Without him, Zenitsu would have stayed a coward and would never be pushed to actually get rid of his cowardice. (And bro we don’t talk about how AMAZING his design is. BEST DESIGN IN THE SHOW FOR ME)
literally Kokushibo, Douma, Upper four hatred demon, pleasure demon etc all these have better designs than that kaigaku
@@richiednath880 First of all, Kokushibo is literally just has six eyes, Yoriichi hair, and a breathing style. He’s basically just Yoriichi 2.0 .
Douma just kind of looks like a normal person with long hair and pretty eyes. Sure he looks cool, but there’s better designs.
Zohakuten (I believe you’re talking about) does have a cool design, sure. But at the same time, he just looks like a dragon ball character. That’s why most people like him. Even his cloning abilities are kind of like a different character. (I haven’t watched dragon ball but I believe that Majun Bu; I hope I spelled that right TwT; is the one he has similar abilities to.)
Kaigaku just has a cool design overall. (He kind of gives me wannabe Blitzø vibes too)
