Now we talkin'! finally a song Id actually buy. Considering theres about 50 million MPC tutorials out there, there seems to be little talent that goes along with it...
That's basically it :) Than you have 2 options: Syncing the 909 patterns to your host (via midi sync) or triggering the individual 909 sounds via midi notes. Holding shuffle/flam button and pressing one of the 16 step buttons sets the midi channel. It defaults to omni mode (responds on all 16 channels).
Are you using the MPC as a sequencer for all the synths, or do you use it as a midi controller that controls ableton, which in turn is doing all the sequencing? I am rather curious about the different ways people work, as I am thinking of adding an MPC to my kit, not just for the sampling duties, but also as a sequencer, to control my hardware. I am quite competent with Ableton, which does all my sampling and sequencing at the moment, however, I would dearly love to be able to compose tracks, and jam tracks, without being reliant upon the laptop. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thankyou. Great work by the way.
Gas Rok that is interesting, i am in a similar case - already have drum machines, synths and a good hw sequencer but i looking forward to a mpc 4000. I have read several times that to have a loop pedal is convenient, but i cannot figure out how to use it nor i do not know a good one to buy. I am still finding my way to work, after starting ITB i went totally OTB. Could you explain how you use the mpc and the loop pedal in that kind of context? I basically was thinking in sampling from vinyl and loading the mpc with decent drum samples. thx!
Hey man, bit of a random one here. This weekend I'm playing a festival in Glasgow called Platform 18 and this tune is exactly the kinda vibe I'm going for. I realise it's 9 years old but is there any chance of a high quality download of it? Would pay if I have to! I always find myself going back to this video cause I love it so much haha. Sent you a message on soundcloud as well in case you don't see this. Cheers :)
Nice stuff , i got one question how you setup the tr 909 on midi, i did it a few times but can't recreate it, should just turn on the tr 909 and then put a midi cable in the midi in right ? or am I missing something greets Ful !!!
Good stuff! Still listening to it time to time 😁
2018 and still bouncing to this classic tune!!!
Chale Rhingo didn’t realize this tune became a classic lol. Glad it’s still getting plays in 18.
@@Arc.hitectureMusic I hope you are still producing tracks and if so, i hope you post more videos like this.
Chale Rhingo I have, have you watched the latest videos?
The effect is a Roland Chorus Echo Re501 and Korg MS20 used as a filter. From Denver, Colorado.
I like your style. Keep this sound alive!

How high quality? Wav or 320kbps mp3?
@@Arc.hitectureMusic 320kbps mp3 would be ideal mate

What is your multi track interface for ableton here?
Allen and Heath R16. Ableton only handles the raw audio, all processing is OTB.
oh cheers - the R16 multi tracks into Ableton
fine
XL yo feeeel it....
You forgot to turn on the xoxbox. :(
is the bass sound from the moog ?
Is that the A&H Zed22fx? Im thinking about getting one.
its the R16. Great mixer for recording hardware.
Architecture Decided to pick up the zed22fx for about 500 bucks second hand. So far so good
Architecture Sound quality wise you mean?
