So the way I heard it, Crime stoppers refused to pay the reward because they called 911 instead of Crime stoppers, so I believe Jayme's parents place of employment donated what crime stoppers SHOULD'VE paid.
Don’t you just LOVE when police take credit for “bringing Jayme home” when in reality, they did absolutely NOT bring her home. For 2 months she was with that psycho. The only reason she was found is because of JAYME herself!!! He could’ve killed her and disposed of her and probably would’ve never gotten caught. Good job LE 🙄
I cant believe the police comments! The second story really shakes me, im sorry, she knew where she was....we know how to get home, where we are and he was sitting there eating ice cream- clearly not a threat! I think that story is bogus, she was not drunk or anyrhing .... Her repeating it over n over is suspect....i worked nights sometimes 12 hours a night , drove home and always knew where my house was!
While I don’t believe her, I will say she might not have used a key. We live in a gated apartment complex with cameras everywhere and don’t lock our door and I’ve actually wondered before if i would ever accidentally walk into the apartment above me (because I’ve also been distracted/on my phone) and one time it was dark coming into my own apartment and as soon as i opened the door I panicked and thought “oh my god what if this isn’t my place” I get paranoid about it sometimes though and it has literally never happened to me, but yea sometimes I’ll open my door while while looking at my phone and as soon as I take the first step in I’m like oh my god what if this isn’t my place but again, that’s literally never happened and it honestly just seems really unlikely and I just don’t buy her story
I was the only person outside of family who communicated with JP after he was taken into custody,it was very educational and eye opening. We were strangers, never knew him and no it wasn’t “love”, not even close.
wow the police really taking credit for finding the girl, when she was the one who was brave enough to outsmart and escape by herself, after the police let the abductor escape in the first place really annoyed me...
When I was younger and I used to come home tired from work or tired from a night out I never forgot my door or my floor. There's something wrong w/ her story. Hoping this gentlemen get the justice he deserves.
There are whole months I don't remember when my husband and I worked excessive hours, waking very early. Like 4am. And I'm a natural night owl. So I was basically getting sleep in broken bits. A few hours here. A few there. But somehow I always walked through the right house door.
It's weird that if she got into a car wreck, her being tired wouldn't be excusable. But her managing to drive home, while on the phone mind you, and yet be too tired to notice all the different sights/smells that aren't like your home? It's really weird.
I had just moved into a new basement apartment and one evening I had went to the house exactly like where I was living. My key even opened the door I walked down into what I thought was my apartment and it was exactly like mine but it was empty and unfinished confused I realized it was wrong house lol. Why my key worked I have no idea. I did let the owner know what happened and told him my key fits his lock
In reference to the Officer who shot the neighbor, how did she get into the wrong apartment? First thing I do when I get to my door is put the key into the lock and unlock the door. I don't check to see if it is unlocked. With that, the key wouldn't turn..
@@Runzwitbeer99 This is such a good point! If she heard someone in there from the outside, she could have just left and called the cops. If she didn't hear him from the outside, then when she went to put her key in , she would have known it wasn't her apartment. The whole situation is so weird! I know one thing, always lock your door. ALWAYS!
how could the police chief take her impressively brave escape away from her by saying the police found her? This girl was her own superhero when the police had failed to find her.
The hugs for this woman from the family and the judge are absolutely ridiculous! And what would have happened if the victim had done the same to her and would there have been hugs or a life sentence for him? It is clear that she shot because she wanted to shoot and was waiting for that opportunity. It is enough for me to look at her face, and 10 years is a mockery!
The office taking credit for Jayme’s return is just pathetic. Hey that is because of Jayme’s courage, being strong, smart and the will to survive. Stay strong Jayme❤
I walked into my neighbors house before… it was raining so my head was down as I ran in…I seen the fire hydrant and was like I never noticed that before… then walked in& seen 4 college kids It took 5-6 seconds to realize I didn’t know any of them & I was I’m the wrong apartment!!! & my 8 year old was with me
This is a lot like the Short Family murders in Virginia where Michael and Mary Short were shot dead in their home and then 9 year old Jennifer Short their daughter was taken and then found murdered 30 miles from the home a month and a half later. Sadly, that case 22 years later still unsolved. This happened in August of 2002. Just sad.
Amber becomes emotional, it makes even the judge emotional, judge hugs a murder (?) anyway, she gets a short sentences, - funny judgements - In my country too cops kill people and they get away without proper punishments, they have the state supports!
20:41 - And that is when the real justice begins, looking over your shoulder for the remainder of your life in a small box with others that despise you for stealing their oxygen.
This should not be a two part video, these cases both deserve their place and I think the second video should be separate. I feel so much for all of the victims that are mentioned in this video, your post makes no attempt to mention the victim in the second segment and that is not cool just saying. long time watcher, I hope that you do well, be safe and share love everyone
She wasn't to tired when she was fooling around with a married man. I remember hearing she had some type discrepancy with the victim. Her apartment was directly below his apartment and she would get upset about noise.
I dont think I've ever disagreed more with a case than Amber Guyger. I do believe her story, as foolish as it is. It wasn't murder, but manslaughter. However, her sentence should be at least 15-25 years. She freaking killed an innocent man in his home!
I have been really tired coming home very late at night once and tried opening the wrong apartment with my key and I couldn’t understand why my key wasn’t working than realized when I looked at the door number 😮
I'm not trying to excuse what Amber did, but when i was a kid...around 9 or 10, I walked into my friend's house thinking it was my own. I was walking home from school, her house was about 10 houses before mine on the same block. I walked right past her dad and her brother who were working in the flowerbed. They said "hi" to me as I walked past them and into the house. It wasn't until her mother walked into the living room and said something that I realized my mistake. So many comments are saying that they don't think that could ever possibly happen because theyve never done it. I clearly remember being on autopilot when i did it, so I believe anything's possible. There was also a case of a man that was sleep walking when he drove across town to his inlaws house to murder them. Truth is stranger than fiction. 🤷♀️
I am sending out my thoughts and prayers and love to his family and friends I am really! So very sorry for your loss 😢💔 forever young he is gone way to soon he is gone but he will never be forgotten
I dont get the police lady thing... Did she have a past relationship with the tenant above her? Was the door unlocked before entering? Is the apartment set up exactly the same down to the wall color? Like what in the mind of the officer could she even grasp onto to justify that these were the same apartments
Anyone else waiting for an alternative theory regarding motive to be offered by SOMEONE among all those saying how ridiculous her thinking she was walking into her own apartment is? I understand to a degree but when you’re tired and distracted it’s actually quite easy to miss details like a doormat or wrong decor, especially if you’re not expecting anyone to be in there and you immediately hear movement. If not a mistake then why?
In absolute disbelief that anyone thought the off-duty officer intentionally went to an apartment she knew wasn’t hers in order to shoot someone. Should she have been held responsible for the error she made? Yes. But the sentence she received was unduly harsh and rendered purely to satisfy the outcriers. How many of us have gone to the wrong car in a parking lot and been confused when our key didn’t open the door? One time, after an extremely stressful event I actually drove to my old house that I’d moved from several months before and had rented out. Thankfully, I wasn’t distracted like she was (texting on her phone), but it still took me several moments sitting in my car to process why there was a strange automobile parked beside my home.
I went into 711. Was in there for five minutes. Walked out, opened the door to “my” car, tossed my bag in…and I’m staring into the car completely and utterly perplexed - I couldn’t make any sense of what I was looking at. It took at least thirty seconds for my brain to register: this isn’t my car. It was silver, like mine, but a completely different make and model, in a completely different parking spot, obviously full of completely different things than my own. Obviously I didn’t murder someone in that moment but it took a surprisingly long time for my brain to catch up. My expectations didn’t match what I was seeing and it took significant time to rectify the mistake and realize why things weren’t lining up. I’m not a police officer, don’t own a gun, don’t work in this sort of high stress job…but it was a very short span of time between walking in and walking out and I was still confused far longer than you’d think.
I wouldn’t shoot anyone but I’ve tried opening the wrong apt door. Went to the incorrect floor and tried to open the door and of course I couldn’t. How did she get in, is my question….
I know she might be guilty, however, we experience once someone coming to our apartment because the elevator was malfunctioning bringing people to our floor instead of the person's floor. Thankfully, we turn the lights on and the person apologize and left. Then it happened to us, we went to a floor above ours and we did entered but all departments look the same, however, upon turning the light on, we noticed it was not. The people in the apartment were watching TV. We apologize and left. We locked the door since then. BTW we are in the Canada, gun ownership is not as prolific in Canada compare to the U.S.A.
Amber Guyger, how could she get in wit hout the right key? as a corrupt cop or a child abuser, you don`t need a death sentence to just get killed in jail instantly and sometimes even a decade after ..apparently..😱
Finally a story where someone survives, i dont think I've seen one of those on TH-cam in a while
Great job as usual Jesse!
The Kidnapped Girl is SMART..... she did not antagonise the kidnapper but remain calm & being a good listener. Well done Brave Girl God Bless You . Sorry about your parents❤❤❤❤
So did Jayme get the reward for saving herself?
she did, the women that found Jayme gave it to her
I also heard Hormel donated a substantial amount, as her parents had worked for the company.
This story is one I won't forget just miles from where I live and my sister was the same age at the time
Another thing is when you enter a home , there is always a sent and she would have noticed it was different from her own apartment ..
Scent
I cant believe the police comments! The second story really shakes me, im sorry, she knew where she was....we know how to get home, where we are and he was sitting there eating ice cream- clearly not a threat! I think that story is bogus, she was not drunk or anyrhing .... Her repeating it over n over is suspect....i worked nights sometimes 12 hours a night , drove home and always knew where my house was!
You killed an innocent man the least you could do is your 10 years that’s nothing for taking a life
Trying to appeal the wrong she did shows zero sorrow.
Not to mention, she faces people every day who pose a threat; does she fall apart on the job?
I wish there wasn't an ad every 3 minutes.
You could pay for premium. It’s really worth it. I never get ads. Then your wish would come true. 😂
Ad Blocker bud!
You would think the off-duty police officer would realise she is at the wrong apartment when her key wouldn't work.....
While I don’t believe her, I will say she might not have used a key. We live in a gated apartment complex with cameras everywhere and don’t lock our door and I’ve actually wondered before if i would ever accidentally walk into the apartment above me (because I’ve also been distracted/on my phone) and one time it was dark coming into my own apartment and as soon as i opened the door I panicked and thought “oh my god what if this isn’t my place”
I get paranoid about it sometimes though and it has literally never happened to me, but yea sometimes I’ll open my door while while looking at my phone and as soon as I take the first step in I’m like oh my god what if this isn’t my place but again, that’s literally never happened and it honestly just seems really unlikely and I just don’t buy her story
door was open
The police saying they brought her home, what a bottom feeder that guy must be
I was the only person outside of family who communicated with JP after he was taken into custody,it was very educational and eye opening. We were strangers, never knew him and no it wasn’t “love”, not even close.
Without invading her privacy it would be nice to know how she's doing today.
I agree! I pray she is doing good. 🙏
she is doing very well my younger sister graduated with her
@@tristandenver3920 Thank you
wow the police really taking credit for finding the girl, when she was the one who was brave enough to outsmart and escape by herself, after the police let the abductor escape in the first place really annoyed me...
It's really weird.
sure, because your life and experiences define anyone else's.....
She was tired, came home and he was making some noise so she shot him, imho. No way she thought that was her apt.
Because regardless of the circumstances, showing love and compassion are ALWAYS the better thing.
there were too many things that would have alerted Guyger that she had the wrong apartment-I don't believe her at all-
The office taking credit for Jayme’s return is just pathetic. Hey that is because of Jayme’s courage, being strong, smart and the will to survive. Stay strong Jayme❤
36:37 “Police officers are not trained to kill” ummmm since when???
Just saddening and horrifying
Imagine lying next to somebody, knowing they had killed her parents, poor girl in shock, then having to be with him, whilst hoping/trying to escape!
I walked into my neighbors house before… it was raining so my head was down as I ran in…I seen the fire hydrant and was like I never noticed that before… then walked in& seen 4 college kids
It took 5-6 seconds to realize I didn’t know any of them & I was I’m the wrong apartment!!!
Just sad.
Jayame I pray that you will help other people that has gone through what you did
Amber becomes emotional, it makes even the judge emotional, judge hugs a murder (?) anyway, she gets a short sentences, - funny judgements - In my country too cops kill people and they get away without proper punishments, they have the state supports!
Amber would never win an Oscar with that performance.
I'm from Minnesota, and her face was EVERYWHERE in Wisconsin, Minnesota. Everyone was looking for her.
Who is Amber and why is she in this video, I'm so confused?
20:41 - And that is when the real justice begins, looking over your shoulder for the remainder of your life in a small box with others that despise you for stealing their oxygen.
The brother giving her a hug… wow
Miss Geiger's texts speak to the type of person she is. She's not a good person.
She seemed wide awake when she was sexting with her boyfriend 😮a few minutes before the murder
This should not be a two part video, these cases both deserve their place and I think the second video should be separate. I feel so much for all of the victims that are mentioned in this video, your post makes no attempt to mention the victim in the second segment and that is not cool just saying. long time watcher, I hope that you do well, be safe and share love everyone
those cops 'oh we saved her' and drove right by him while he was abducting her
She wasn't to tired when she was fooling around with a married man. I remember hearing she had some type discrepancy with the victim. Her apartment was directly below his apartment and she would get upset about noise.
Why are yall even bringing up this case now?
Was the door locked??
I dont think I've ever disagreed more with a case than Amber Guyger. I do believe her story, as foolish as it is. It wasn't murder, but manslaughter. However, her sentence should be at least 15-25 years. She freaking killed an innocent man in his home!
She could have left the apartment and called 911
Murder shows some sort of intent to target. It's beyond obvious that it's AT MOST it is manslaughter - but murder? SMH!
I have been really tired coming home very late at night once and tried opening the wrong apartment with my key and I couldn’t understand why my key wasn’t working than realized when I looked at the door number 😮
interestingely enough her key seemed to fit?????
Awful crime, police bungle response, girl heroically escapes, police...take credit?
SHE SAVED HERSELF AND THE WOMAN THAT SHE RAN TO!!!!! NOT THE POLICE LOL
Imma lose my job ? Girl you just killed someone f that job
I am sending out my thoughts and prayers and love to his family and friends I am really! So very sorry for your loss 😢💔 forever young he is gone way to soon he is gone but he will never be forgotten
I am sending out my thoughts and prayers and love to her and her family and friends I am really! So very sorry for your losses 😢💔
God bless this poor child. That man that did that was SO EVIL.
She got out on her own and a neighbor walking her dog saw her and helped her. ❤ I jave no doubt her parents were with her all along.
I wouldn’t shoot anyone but I’ve tried opening the wrong apt door. Went to the incorrect floor and tried to open the door and of course I couldn’t. How did she get in, is my question….
Male violence, police take credit for her escape
I know she might be guilty, however, we experience once someone coming to our apartment because the elevator was malfunctioning bringing people to our floor instead of the person's floor. Thankfully, we turn the lights on and the person apologize and left. Then it happened to us, we went to a floor above ours and we did entered but all departments look the same, however, upon turning the light on, we noticed it was not. The people in the apartment were watching TV. We apologize and left. We locked the door since then. BTW we are in the Canada, gun ownership is not as prolific in Canada compare to the U.S.A.
This case absolutely should be a death penalty case. Unfortunately it is not. That’s shameful
That police speech was so narcissistic and and embarrassment. Jayme saved herself, but you could have quicker if you'd pulled that car over ffs.
Amber Guyger, how could she get in wit hout the right key? She was supposedly trained and should be held to a higher standard than a regular person. my father was a state trooper and he always told me "you can't call the bullet back" so you better be damned sure you make the right call before you pull the trigger. She was wrong.
She found her own way out, brave girl
36:44 she has violated American Citizen’s rights MORE than once. Her karma caught up to her.
Bless her ❤
It looked pretty dark in there when cops were shining flashlights around. How could she really see all.the floor, furniture and so on.
i found my neighbour in my apartment...he had blacked out thinking its his place
I don’t agree with the guy’s theory about the car yielding
What theory. 😂
The car did yield. It's in the video.
@@cynthiaconnors183 I’m saying it yielded the cop had his eye on him, he knew I was suspicious, the guy reporting said they did nothing about that basically cops dropped the ball
@@Dr.Pepperlady there wasn’t anything suspicious about it. The only thing there would have been the fact that it was coming from the direction they were going. 🤣
@@Carl_McMelvin here buddy I’ll give you a time stamp 10:08
The police didnt find this girl,
This brave girl came to the elderly lady for help.
