    Whoever made the decision to transfer full custody of the daughter to Ashley, a complete stranger to the child, without telling Chad or consulting with him in any way needs to be investigated thoroughly. What kind of decision was this?

    • @Nagaeem

      @@Nagaeem Sometimes I wonder if the courts try to take as many shortcuts as possible with their cases to clear their dockets as quickly as possible, which has to be the cause of these brainless decisions. It cannot be because the courts lack intelligence - judges have to complete law school which requires a basic level of intelligence.

      Totally agree. I'm a retired first grade teacher and I can't imagine having one of my students picked up from a person she doesn't even recognize. I think Ashley came home from the service and saw her child as a money grab to get child support. She Is delivering pizzas so, not much money. But the fact that she never contacted he child in years.

    • @Debthouse

      It's almost ironic that the high probability of individuals being the stupidest parents is directly proportional to the high probability of individuals being the most successful with fertility. Too bad reproduction does not have some type of built-in biological "skill testing question" to ensure a certain level of brain function is required for conception to take place.

    Why murder this woman, just to abuse her child? She was the driving force of the murder, she has zero moral compass and very much a narcissist. They all suck, Chad and his mother included, but I believe they actually loved the children.

  • @supergirl2204

    His mom is a liar. The reason the child didn't know her is because he had defied their prior custody arrangement and would not allow her to see her.

    • @y2ksurvivor
      @y2ksurvivor 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      yep. and it costs money to hold the other parent accountable for keeping the child in spite of a legal custody agreement which aren't as legally strong as most people think.
      most people don't have complex family court custody experience so they think police regularly enforce custody agreements. they don't, unless a judge orders police officers to be specifically involved for a single physical exchange. if a kid is held back by the parent and the other parent calls the police, like most people would advise them to, the police will tell the parent that they can't get involved without a court order directing them to get involved.
      It takes time & money, even if self representing, to get on the judge's docket. it most often takes multiple hearings before that court order to enforce handover is granted.
      It probably took a lot of time and money before Ashley was granted custody after Chad kept the child back for so long. It's likely why so much time went by. I see people implying that Ashley just strolled into court and was granted custody just because she was the mom. that's not how it happens in instances like this one. you're right, it was Chad's fault for isolating the child fully from her mother for so long.

    Ashley abandoned her daughter for 6 years and then comes back and gets full custody. That is totally unfair. Fathers are not second-class citizens to be treated so shabbily. Would it have been the same if a father had done it. NO WAY. The court should have granted Ashley visitation and then gradually progressed to 50/50 custody. The court is the principle precipitating factor for this whole crime. I do know what Chad did was evil, though I do understand his reasoning.
